How I think and feel about the ringing in my ears doesn’t do anything. It’s still there!!!!!! Unless you have it you have no idea how terrible it is

I've had tinnitus since childhood. I'm 58 and have no recollection of what it's like to not have my constant companion of high pitched ringing with me every moment. It really doesn't bother me much, I've learned to tune it out as long as I have something to distract me such as music, tv or maybe a fan. I stream a lot of KZfaq videos while I'm doing things at home - like this great content 😉 I should consider myself lucky to have had it so long that I don't remember life without it.

Hi, I have high pitched tinnitus also but thank God I have some very good days where I barely hear that sound. But just like you I just ignore it and live with it. TC

I've had tinnitus for 15 or more years. I've used CBD for 4 years. CBD did not affect my tinnitus at all. Last spring my tinnitus seemed to double in volume over a short time, and I was quite concerned about putting up with that for maybe the rest of my life. But I started taking a GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric acid) supplement on the advice of one of these videos, and yay, it has cut my tinnitus by about 80%. Very manageable now, I can ignore it completely most of the time.

@@mikokocak7257The same! I take 750mg GABA twice a day, and the apparent volume of the tinnitus stays low enough to ignore. It's really a quality of life improvement for me. It's pretty inexpensive as supplements go too. I've noticed that smoking weed makes the tinnitus amp up, but that only lasts until the weed wears off. Otherwise, it stays low. If you have tinnitus, I'd say it's worth a try - a bottle might cost you $15. You'll know within a few days if it's going to work for you. If you search for GABA and tinnitus, you'll probably find a video on YT that discusses it. Basically, it's an inhibitory neural transmitter that the brain uses to tell the overactive auditory nerves to calm down, stop signalling so much. It's used routinely by the nervous system, but it gets depleted by these overactive nerves firing too much. The supplement replenishes it. Good luck!

@@gambettonsa4528 Are you asking how I got tinnitus? Too much loud music when I was young, mainly. I remember one concert in particular that was so loud, and we were on the floor not far from the speakers, my ears rang for 3 days after. But there were plenty of other occasions too. Also shooting guns as a teenager without adequate ear protection. Later in life we pay for the sins of our youth ...🤗

I use CBD for inflammation in my lower joints, and it works great in combo with other therapies. But, it doesn't do squat on my tinutus. Best treatment I've tried for tinutus is keep my hearing aids in.

My Tin-NI'-tis is getting louder/worse when I wake up at night, 3-4 times, to Pee!! My Urologist is treating me for BHP, but I'm on my 3rd T.U.R.P. procedure in the future if it doesn't get better. IT SUCKS GETTIN OLD!!

Interesting video. My tinnitus started in 1982. It changes often. Stress makes it louder. It is most bothersome when it is loud and continuous. I’m not sure if this is something i want to try until more successful developments happen.

Earlier this evening, I just happened to stop by a Vape Shop and picked up some CBD Gummies. Anyways, I’m a 46 year old man and my back has been hurting so bad, it’s really messing with my sleep. Hi! I just wanted to ask, 1)what do you do when a patient is reeeallyy picky with the sound quality? My audiologist had a lot of trouble to get my devices sounding right for me but the issue isn’t them, puts the fact that I’m way too picky about it and i have a hard time telling or explaining what does not sound right,.. they have are wonderful audiologists and do have success with every other patient, and they super nice and kind,.. although now that i am living in NYC during the week instead of where I normally live, i am looking for someone to have incase of any problems,.. Do you happen to know anyone located on the upper east side of manhattan?

I think my tinnitus 2 causes maybe 1= Auditory nerve blockage due to weigh gain or some more 2= cronna vacation side effects

Started using cbd as was suggested helpful for tinnitus. Used for several months with no benefit at all. Other benefits pain relief and useful for insomnia haven’t really noticed anything significant.

No it does NOT help tinnitus actually can and will make your tinnitus louder! And for many tinnitus is NOT annoying it’s horrifying!! Word it right!

Mentira, she can not be a doctor! She's just a kid! What did she say? I have never heard of CBD!!!; And i have been smoking weed on and off since i was sixteen....1967. THC yes!!!!!! I smoke a little almost every day. Avery little and not so great....as in potent. But at my age i dont want super weed anymore! Again it does not seem to be different whether i am toking or not. I have never even thought about it. And i am not sure i want to find out if it is good or bad. The only effective relief i get is with distraction....but that's just me!!!!! Great video by the way.!!!!

I have used zok with vertigo which I suffered daily. I noticed it is caused by stressing about anything. Teaching made it worse. Now I get it on occasion or when there’s great barometric changes. I can detect them on certain streets which I find too weird. I hate elevators I will jog up 20 flights to avoid them. My ears clog and sends my head for a slight spin. Goes away. Or may last a few days. Zok helped relieve the pressure. But has never reduced tinnitus. Only the pressure that makes tinnitus worse. I have 10% hearing loss in left ear. I’ve had tinnitus since age 22. I’m 64. I have sound sensitivities. My sister is louder than they come and I wear ear plugs around her. I keep record of when and what I was doing when everything goes to hell. I’ve had thorough testing only to tell me what I already knew.
