Yea bought the same one a few hours ago before seeing any video etc. but it seems to good to be true, M390 and Camo Carbon, and Titanium for 145? What is the HRC of the M390… surely it can’t be 62 or higher. 62-66 HRC of M390 seems to be the sweet spot. China getting it to that?! We shall see

Never herd of 62-66. 62 is the optimal from what ive heard. 64-66 would be too brittle i think. This is 60-62 i believe.

I would trust QSPs heat treat well before Sitivien, if Sitivien is even actually using real m390. If the blade steel isn’t that big of a deal, which to my own self I do admit it is not always major factor based on how I use my knives, then sure I can see how $89 would be a good deal for some

@@JasonLeeDeeCee fair point. i see different quality levels in Sitivien knives. manufactured by different OEMs i guess. LTK measured their M390 below 60, whereas in my opinion the sweet spot is 62. ut maybe that was a ba batch. fit and finish and action are excellent.
