I wouldn't advise leaving "Auto FPS" and and "Auto Lens Switching" ON. These are 2 options I would never leave on if I want to shoot something decent and cinematic looking. However well done on video in general, I can see you invested much of your time in it

Auto FPS is first thing to turn off because it will change the shutterspeed and video can become choppy. Best way is manual control.

Hdr10+ is not better dynamic range.. That is more daturated colours,especialy green,red,blue

Is there any way to have more manual control when in video portrait mode? I like the software bokeh (in moderation), but you can't do many other video adjustments as far as I can tell in portrait mode.

Personally I like auto lens switching to be off. Gives me more control over the lenses

This video is a good guide. I want to do walk-around videos outside in the day and at night (low light). Do you recommend the S23 Ultra for that?

Thanks! Yes I can definitely recommend the S23 for walk-around video. Day time is no problem whatsoever. At night you do need some light from city lights or a LED panel. Pitch black will not work very well and some noise reduction in post will always help. ;) Hope I could help in your decision.

Congratulations for the video. I'm a video enthusiast and I've noticed some jumps and micro jitters in panoramic video shots (video shooting from right to left and left to right) that I don't like in s23 ultra. Is this a problem that persists even with the latest updates? Can the S 23 ultra contain video noise in low-light scenes?I am an android user and I'm undecided about a possible purchase or to switch to iphone. Thanks for the reply.

Yes it's very annoying I have the s22 ultra and it's the same there samsung flagship phones with in my opinion unusable cameras, each year the features improve but sadly the quality doesn't, that's why I'm switching to sony later this year, stabilisation in fhd on my s22 ulta is unusable even on a tripod !!! 👍

Great video. The problem I'm having is the video audio when recording a live band. The sound is thin compared to my Huawei P20 pro.

I have not tried to record something with high level of volume with the phone but if i where to do so i would use an external mic for this. Bluetooth or USB C. Whte are some good option on amazon.

Thanks for the informative video, I'm a content creator, mainly short form stuff, looking to do more long form for youtube, do you think an s23 ultra is a good enough setup to film video, I mainly shoot steady half body shots inside, with controlled lighting..was in 2minds of getting a Sony ZVE10 or upgrading my Samsung s10 to the s23ultra..would love to know your thoughts, thanks

Thanks for the feedback. I do think that eh S23 Ultra has a great video camera and aside from it having a smaller sensor than the ZVE10 i think that the S23 has more video options like 4k60p or even 8K. If you are only going post on youtube with contolled lighting then i would defenitely upgrade to the S23. I had a S20 Before and i really notice a big jump in quality. Plus i have seen on your channel that you do Shorts so also a plus being able to post your vertical video direct from your phone. Keep on Grinding KZfaq you have a cool channel!!

3x is not digital it's 3x Telephoto optics

My s23 ultra is producing oversharpened video outputs. I am a pro photographer and did a scientific test. Compared it with Oneplus 8pro(2020) 4k60 settings. Each time the results were very different (i.e. very contrasty, oversharpened, on s23Ultra. I was shooting on UHD60 (normal mode, pro mode, auto, manual, highest bit rate turned on/off) tried all. The subject of shoot was a green landscape (sunny daytime). The only time footage looked good was using 8k setting. But I require 60fps so 8k is pretty useless to me. Do anybody have any clue about the issue ? I feel like making the video of this whole process and share it with all. Quite disappointed as how this new device of mine is performing so bad in this aspect.

Я из за этого сдал телефон обратно. Был разочарован. Самый бюджетный iphone видео 60fps снимает лучше, стабильно, чем этот Samsung дорогой
