In this video I show you step by step how I filmed and edited a cinematic video through the city of Vienna with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. You could make a video similar to this with the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23 as well. The 10X lens is a fantastic addition to the existing lenses. You can follow this simple 5 step process to get AMAZING Results! For some shots I was also using a 3 axis gimbal to get more stable footage - but you can also get great results filming handheld.

Would the 4k 30fps be decent for regular non cinematic videos? I have heard over on other channels that there is a great deal of audio compression even with external mics on the 23 ultra, have you noticed this at all?

of course.. it just depends what you want to film.. for my type of video (that I made in this tutorial) 60fps just made the most sense. I have not noticed any bad audio quality with the S23 and an ecternal mic so far, but I can test that in more detail

Cinematic videos are not possible with the Galaxy S23 Ultra( and mostly all smartphones) because the videos are way too oversharpened. But with Filmic Pro you can reduce or even disable the digital sharpening and then it locks cinematic anf fantastic

@@smartphonefilmmakingpro No, the video is very good and very informative. And ofcourse your amazing camera movement and ideas are great. But what I meant is that the video doesn't look cinematic because of the oversharpening. That is not your fault is the fault of the video processing from the phone. To reduce or disable sharpening you could use filmic pro and then the videos will look amazing because of the soft and real look
