It is detachable. But every time doing will be difficult and the thread may get worn off easily.

Heavy metals require more contact time to remove from water... Water softener/water purifier is only option.

This only a water filter, there won't be any change in TDS. If you want to reduce the TDS you have install high end water purifier/softer. If interested check the link in the description.

As a result, TDS (Total Dissolved Salts) may NOT reduce, however rest be assured that your water is a lot more safer and free from contaminants! "

No it doesn't remove iron. Description of the product- neutralizes Chlorine also removes harmful organic matter and dilutes hard salts and has anti-bacterial effect. Mineral stones and alkaline ball - recharges water with minerals and sets the pH just right to smoothen your skin and hair.

There is not much difference in the tds. It will reduce the chlorine, other impurities and salts deposit present in the water.

It's okay. There is some improvement in water quality. Don't expect too much from any of these type of filters.

Sediments will be collected inside only. Once in a while you have to back flush the filter. If the quality of the water reduce or water flow reduces, we may need to reverse the filter and flush the Sediments or waste out.
