Best way to repair air leak in vinyl inflatables, like pool toys, towables, etc

4 жыл бұрынRepairing an air leak in the seam or thin section of a vinyl inflatable can be very challenging using conventional glue/solvent and a patch. I found SHOE GOO to be very effective at fixing air leaks in vinyl inflatables included towables which are subject to higher pressure, shock and flexing. It works better than any of the various patches and solvent used in numerous previous attempts to seal an air leak in a towable.

Did you go by any chance try the Flex Seal tape on your floaties I'm attempting to try it today and hope it works because it was like 15 bucks for a small roll will post my success rate when done in the water

was it deflated when you added the shoe goo?

I have tried with them semi inflated but it blows a hole in the non cured shoe goo

@@RealityCheckTV No only when it is totally deflated.... if its on a seam only do along the width of the Seam only...I clean the surface with rubbing alcohol First put the shoe goo over the hole let cure for 24 hours and then fill with air to make sure its holding....
