The Motomillion R1M Walkaround!
The R1M represents the best of what Japan has to offer in the sport bike world, and it's such a special bike that we've even called it the Ducati of Japan!
We say that with the ultimate respect, and full of praises for what Yamaha has consistently done with their R1 platform.
However, we always strive to take things further here at Motomillion. With the Motomillion R1M, we had a goal: To create the R1M we believe Yamaha would have put out with no restrictions.
What does that mean? All plastics are no carbon fiber, the braking system is fully Brembo, with carbon fiber braided brake lines, an Ohlins steering damper has been added, and it has the Akrapovic World Superbike Superstock spec full titanium exhaust system, amongst a bunch of other upgrades!
Is this the best R1M ever? For us, the answer is yes. The subtlety, the power, and the original spirit of the bike are all here, and its what makes it one of the favorite bikes here at Motomillion.

Yes,it's the best R1m I have seen...I was surprised that it made almost 200hp....It looks elegant and it was tastefully done...not over the top or too much of anything...This is what it should have come from factory...

R1 'm' Yes. Personally I want one of the direct to consumer limited run GP bikes Yamaha are selling/getting ready to sell. Think all of 3 are said to exist. One is on display at Crescent Yamaha GYTR Pro Shop in the UK. 44 teeth just did a video about it. Another is in Valentino Rossi's hands.... the third im guessing is still in factory testing hands or the like.. Something like $150,000. C'mon though... its a Legit GP bike..

That was the goal! We believe Yamaha should have made all those pieces carbon fiber from factory, so that's what we did.

Switch back LED for the front turn signals would be sweet. Orange blinker. White running light. Increase of safety, visibility, and a cool factor

You should consider the galespeed elaborate front brake master cylinder & clutch perch, the billet machining is absolutely gorgeous and the galespeed front master is adjustable in small increments for fine tuning that brake feel

No seat cover? Just put one on mine yesterday. I wish the Akra can for the R1 was smaller like on the s1000rr. I went with a Spark GP for mine. Also, question: Do the crg bar end mirrors need the bar end adapter for the 2021 R1 ? Was thinking about ordering some from your site

Great machine, but about the mirrors. I trained to balance myself on the bike and be able to turn my head and body to see with my eyes the cars around me. It’s different on the street in traffic you have to have your head on a swivel or else. Of course track riding is different, but don’t just trust your mirrors on the street.

I don't like winglets, either (on any make or model). I think they look terrible and 99% of riders will never benefit from their intended purpose. I think it's definitely a good-looking bike but a little too much carbon fiber for me. I've always liked the black/blue/silver color combination. Panigales are great bikes but I'd like to see more Japanese builds: a ZX-10R, Gixxer 1k, or Fireblade would be nice.

Only thing you guys kinda butchered is the brake reservoir, you’ll never see those in a racing paddock. OEM is the way to go. Huge pet peeve of mine. Adding weight at the highest point of the bike. Function = beauty in the racing world. Clean bike otherwise 👍

We do appreciate the point of view, but this is a street bike and not a racing bike. Often times we have to balance looks with performance, in the case of 10 grams with the reservoir we are okay with, because the stock ones look like pee cups you take to your local laboratory.

It actually matches the blue accents on the bike pretty bang on in person. Don't forget with anodizing it looks off from camera and filters.

All the carbon is way too much. The factory gloss black actually looks better. The only piece that needed to be changed was the tank cover plastic which just looks cheap. Change that one out, and you are set. Winglet covers the M logo which should be exposed.
