Very informative video. but I choose physical debit card option initially while opening account, can I request for close the physical debit card and go with the virtual if I wish to? and for upgrade to 10000 edge savings acc. is it still a best option.

Rural area me generally Kotak and Au SFB ka Branch hi nahi hai (and fake Pin Code dal kr account krne ae bad me KYC error ho jayega .agr full KYC hua to kabhi vi freeze ho sakta hai) .... So if u r from village wo 2 no ko vul jao... And Bank of Boroda Zero Balance me SmS alert ka charge kat.ta hai. And Passbook and Cheque vi nahi milta.... So Go for SBI (free sms alert and also PB and Cheque Book)

Bhai Maine aise kotak 811 ka account khola tha meri City me branch nhi tha maine galat adress dal ke dusre city ka branch dal account khola phir 6 mahine bad apna real adress update kar diya aaj 2 ya 3 shaal ho gaye hai account khole hue but Aaj Tak koi single problem bhi nhi hia 😊

Hello Sir I have opened my zero balance savings account in kotak mahindra bank used their services since 1 and half year and I must say that the bank is providing worst services ever. "In my account I have 900 Rs at some point and my emi also gets deducted from this account but after few days my account balance shows 0 Rs and when I complained to customer care then they are saying that it will take 90 days to get your money back" Offering account is good but providing services forcefully makes me to a step backward from this Bank. Also charges of debit card and physical passbook are creating a headache. My recommendation is to not to prefer this account for ZERO BALANCE SAVINGS ACCOUNT.

Kotak 811 has a big drawback which is that you can't do transactions over 1lakh in a single year. And the icici bank account that he's talking about it looks sketchy. First you need 95k at the time of opening, then from what I've seen from private banks they force you to maintain 10k minimum. So everyone who's thinking of going with icici do proper research first.

Sir kotak wale ne khud hi physical debit card apply kr diya.. Bina customer se puche. Baad m customer se kah diya ki customer car walo ko phone kr k bnd krwa do.vo bhi top up reacharge se . Bhle hi unlimited call wala recharge ho.. Fir v apko 40-50rs ka krwana pdega tbhi call ho pyegi.. Mtlb customer totally loss m h mentally financially 299rs.cut gye turant..

Kotak mahindra is a worst bank for zero balance account. Well atleast my branch seems to be the worst. I had opened my account last year and still no kyc has been done. The guy who does the kyc is so irresponsible that he never arrived to do the kyc. Bank officials never helped. Now the account is inactive. 😪
