I remember watching this documentary back in the very eary 90s. Perhaps '91. It had a profound impact on me and is one of the most beautiful documentaries ive seen..and im 50 now! I haven't seen this in nearly thirty years. Thankyou for uploading this.

Превосходный фильм! Беркут - красивая, могучая и гордая птица! В Казахстане и Монголии охота с беркутом имеет многовековую традицию... В горных районах Казастана беркут гнездится, его и сейчас можно встретить в Восточном Казахстане, Карагандинской области и в Южном Казахстане.

What a mature and ennobling understanding the Kazakhs display in realizing that the eagle at some point must be encouraged to fly off on its own and become independent of the human companion. Thus freeing the bird of having to lose its natural instincts. Most so-called civilized peoples who get a wild animal feel they have to dominate it and keep it a captive until it dies. Not understanding the necessity for maintaining balance and harmony with the animal world, and not condemning the undomesticated animal to be totally dependent on humans.

This is fantastic! Majestic and nobel. How they work together in harmony is really amazing. So coherent with the surroundings, hunting for food, selling the hides of the catch. This makes me a lot irritated about the ppl that are against using animal products, stupidity and a huge misunderstanding of what the relationship between man and beast is about. I hope they watch these films and learn a bit abt the works of the world.

They use double headed black eagle like serbia just theirs is black and serbian is white. In medival serbia serbian knight ruled that land and black color was for knights and white represent king or czar. Russians and austruans have also doubkeheaded eagle
