I think Americans are not used to like asian look so if they see asians they would think they look the same. Same goes for asian, I am asian and sometimes I can’t tell the difference of black people (no offense) or white people. Just like how people who don’t eat unique food would think its weird because they’re not used to it. The pork and eggs is my favoriteeee! It’s a process to make it that’s why it’s so good. You have to caramelize sugar to where it gets brown but not burnt with ginger and lemon grass then add the water and soy sauce and other seasonings then simmer the cooked pork in it. We cook the pork separately in my house to remove the skum then we leave it in the caramelized sugar sauce for hours to simmer and get tender and we put boiled eggs in there also so the eggs soak up the sauce and turn the color of the broth. The way my mom makes it is soooo good.
