Suggestion on the foam remover, you only need a tiny amount. Fill the cap of the foam remover with foam remover, then pour it back into the bottle. Now flick remaining drops from the cap into your tub to remove foams.

Hello Andy, would you have any idea to why the air jet function stops working on my spa after 2 minutes? it works when you select on the tough panel then after 2 minutes just stops, no errors, no bleeps! after waiting about 20 minutes you can then press the button for another go that lasts 2 minutes. the TEST button just beeps constantly with no errors, the heater and pump work fine, I resolved the "hot plug" issue by cutting off the moulded factory one and replacing with a fresh 13amp and now the plug stays cool. I dont understand how everything on the egg I have works yet the air for the jets -starts up fine, runs, then just stops?? I cant find the answer anywhere online either - oh and no leaks in the egg unit, no water inside at all. Thanks for the video and your efforts.

I've already bought a floating chemical adjuster and it came with a small container of 100 1g/tablets (Crystal Clear). My question is, as these are very small, how many 1g tablets would you put into the floater to start with ?? I believe the Helsinki is approx 1000-1200 litres / 220 gal. Sometimes chlorine can stay high, especially after initial dosing. Try taking lid off and running the air jets for 10 mins or so, this helps circulate and the air will help dissipate the chlorine. Patience in the first 1 or 2 days is needed I've always found!

Hi thanks for the video, new to having a hot tub. Do I keep the circulation on constant or only for a certain amount of hours a day ? Also how often do I need to replace the water ? Thanks
@junkendriven
@junkendriven 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Anthony, thanks for watching! You should keep circulation on constantly to keep the water moving and filtering, that way you'll stop build up of algae and other nasties. Remember to keep the chlorine levels constantly checked too. For heating I set mine to low temperature when it'll not be used a few days to save money, then higher on days/mornings I want to use it. For replacing the water, this depends. If people using it don't wear make-up, suncream, etc, then it can last a few weeks. Judge it based on cleanliness and the amount of chlorine you need to top up. The more chlorine normally indicates it may need changing. Good luck!

Hi there, thats odd. They are meant to be left on constantly to allow it to maintain the temperature and also to keep the filter running. Hi, it sounds like you've done everything right but that's a long time, did you add a lot of chlorine for the shock dose? Also, white seems odd for the tester, it's normally a colour so I'd be wanting to check, test it in say a glass of tap water then add a tiny chlorine and see what colours it goes to make sure the test trips are working, they fade and bleach out if left in the sun too long.

Hi Scott. The more you use it the more the temperature will drop. Watch the temperature before lifting cover and during use. Especially if you use the air pump system that pushes cold air through the water so cools it! I'd not expect a pool cover to help much as the supplied inflatable top is quite a good insulator. Feel the exterior walls, top, etc and see if you can feel a lot of heat radiating out to confirm this. They are expensive toys!

@junkendriven
@junkendriven 4 жыл бұрын
@@scotthawkins5347 Hi there, yes outside temperature really makes a difference. I doubt it's faulty, check your electricity and when it gets to temperature check that the heater cuts out. It's around 1.2Kw when heater on and a couple of hundred watts when idle. By the sounds of it, the regular use and cold outside temperatures I think you're spot on with your calculations of cost, etc. When it's working hard it will take almost an entire overnight to return to temperature. I've since found how grossly inefficient the heater is, it actually wastes a lot of heat (Feel the egg, is it warm? yes, then it's wasting energy!). But not much you can do about that unfortunately! Sorry I don't have a way of saving, I'd say don't use timer to try to cut down as it'll take longer to build up that maintain a base temperature. All the best, Andy
