My guess is that the ending of The Bad Batch is going to be the reason why the Emperor will move important things like cloning to Exegol. 🤔

Cody ordered the shot that knocked Kenobi off the cliff during Order 66. And here we're seeing the Clone Assassin fall a significant distance, and end up in the water. I'm sure that's a coincidence.

Imagine if the cavalry at the end of the show was actually Vader with his 501st decked out in the OG trilogy stormtrooper armour arriving from hyperspace in an older republic venator coming to clean house, like a dark mirror of the clone wars Anakin. He arrives too late to stop the bad batch from destroying Tantiss, but they don't escape him and most of them die in the end. It ends with Vader learning just enough about Project Necromancer but not enough to do anything about it. He gets angrier since Palpatine wasn't really lying. You can bring the dead back to life, but Palpatine won't do it for anakin.

I think Rampart's comment concerning Crosshair is going to prove interesting.

I hope that there will be a new series with all the clones that we've seen in the Bad Batch together with the Bad Batch as additional side characters. This would leave much more room for the clone uprising, explaining how Captain Gregor survived or even more arcs focussing on the Bad Batch, etc.

There is gonna be another clone wars style show. They left WAY too many open ends and set up a lot of questions we need answers to.

The assassin is NOT Tech. There's no way they can squeeze that storyline into the last episode. The assassin probably has some of Crosshair's skills from the experimentations and Crosshair will probably fight him in the last episode.

The Zillo Beast has always been such a major tease. Of course im hyped but im so done with it. I ahte when things get dragged out to much. But the season itself was AMAZING.

It’s 1000% Cody they show him in an earlier season. Have him use a vibroblade in that episode and then the assassin clone uses the same one. And Rex have a nightmarish jump and yell out for Cody in Rebels. There’s no way they go through all that work for it not to be Cody.

Hear me out, after wolffe hears about tantiss and the experiments there, he spends all of the time offscreen since his appearance earlier in the series trying to find tantiss and when he hears about the bad batch being on the station orbiting coruscant, he goes there, manages to get the coords and after telling the wolffepack about tantiss they agree to go save their brothers and so in a desperate time where the bad batch is trapped, maybe even a member or two dead, and then the entire wolffepack drop out of hyperspace and come to the rescue (with rex ofc and howzer)

Im fine with rex's story being unfinished because it gives way to a possible Rex series showing rex's rebellion and eventual retirement. That series could show Cody's fate if we dont see him in the Bad Batch finale and possibly show the adventures regular clones had in his rebellion like in the Clone Wars show.

I hope Rex plus even Hera's father's people are the calvary.

I think the assassin is a cloned crosshair. All the episodes with the Assassin always end up with him against crosshair. I think it’s supposed to symbolize who crosshair would have become.

My conspiracy is that there is a 16th unanounced episode coming may 4th (like with clone wars s7 where the last episode aired that day) because all seasons had 16 episodes and this one has 15… weird to cha ge that amount by one

I really don't think it's Tech. There simply has not been enough time to heal/repair him, indoctrinate him and then train all of those advanced skills, etc. A few months are not enough.

When the assassin clone pulled himself out of the water from that fall it reminded me of Obi Wan in Revenge of the Sith. I think it was a hint that it is Cody.

Something tells me the cavalry has arrived refers to multiple things. The zillo beast for omega, however many clones for the bad batch (Rex, Gregor, maybe Cody? Maybe the Wolfpack? Lots of different opportunities) and maybe even some surprise for the empire. Delta squad? Unlikely but a fanboy can dream.

I really hope they do a longer episode length. There's just so much to wrap up in just 22 minutes

i was thinking about how clone x survived the fall kinda how obiwan did in revenge of the sith and maybe the writers wanted the similarities to line up with the clone ending up being cody.

My money is on Cody for being clone X, not tech. Tech knew the planet the bad batch was hiding in, Cody didn't, and Cody DID know crosshair, it makes sense if he was Clone X when he was resentful towards crosshair for not joining him, crosshair had a bad time at Tantis, I think Cody went through the same with him.

Something in Tales of the Jedi will tie into this season. I see how they are tying things together from season/show to season/show by release by what is released right after each other.

Wolf likely started looking for Tantis after Rex told him what was going on, he might even be there already. Cody is likely the assassin because we haven’t seen him since season 2, he needs to show up somewhere and time is running out , also he was Kenobi’s guy, so he should play a meaningful part.

Also not to mention the only ones who have ever carried those knives was Hunter Wrecker Tech Crosshair Commander Cody and potentially Echo who we've only ever seen those knives ever been held or used as their secondary meleeing weapon

A: Tantiss will blow up. B: The assassin is not tech. that would just be so meh, just let him die and stay dead.

Insane how people choose to not let tech stay dead, and even if they bring him back either he’ll die at the hands of the bad batch or eventually turn back to the bad batch, which completely undermines the stakes and emotional moment of his sacrifice. People can’t simply let a character go in the way they did, even with the amount of screen time the assassin has gotten, I feel like he’ll be someone we know, but neither cody or tech.

Remember, Tech is a shorter than a Reg. He also has a different way of being. Yes, he is awesome warrior, but, remember “being more deviant than defective” is in his nature.

Wolf's personality is Different from when we meet him in Rebels, than it is today. I think when the rescue happens, they will find wolf in the middle of be turned into one of those " Alpha Dark Troopers" that caught Omega and due to the Processes he becomes the Happy go lucky clone we know now happened because of it.

such a strong start of a series in season 1 needs a strong ending, hope they aren't rushing it. Past couple episodes feel rushed

You also forgot about one thing that that assassin also has as well the usual blade that Squad 99 has and the only other person that we've ever seen with a certain blade like that size and that kind is Commander Cody from the final season of The Clone Wars and within season 2 of the bad batch when Commander Cody in Crosshair were on the same Mission together is one of the other times when you see him with that knife so that assassin could more likely be Commander Cody also known as more likely assassin cody

I think this finale will focus mainly on the Bad Batch's ending character development. Per Dave's past work, it would be odd for him to rush other major characters. I feel that this show is to provide a catalyst for something larger to come. And what an excellent way it would be to spark a new clone rebellion, since the original legends material has been retconned. (cough, cough... abandoned Kamino facility in the sky... cough cough... prime minister still alive... cough cough). Will we get an explanation for the destroyed base on Anaxes?? OOoooo

Cody is the assassin and Tech is dead, mostly because all the assassins' still have their inhibitor implants while Tech had his removed, Crosshair didn't had his and wasn't turned.

i think its more realistic that cody was sent to tantus for disobaying orders and his abduction was covered up as if he went awol, but was reprogramed to become the assassin. everyone thinks tech is the assassin because itd make a huge shock impact but theres little to no chance he survived that fall and there hasnt been any clues to suggest it outside broad speculation. often when a mystery comes up in shows like this everyone hops on these ideas but in my opinion it doesn't always make for good writing.

Seeing as how ramphart an only tell hemlock that the clones are on the planet and how hemlock is rampart mostly likely will end up dead. He’s of no use to hemlock and the empire so he’s either gonna snitch and die or keep quiet and die. Seeing the zilo beast was cool but it’s kinda obvious now that it’s gonna be let lose on a rampage to be a distraction I’m very curious of how scorch’s story will be held will he be killed off, defect, or left an open question. We see scorch as a high ranking commando guarding tantis so it begs the question where’s boss and fixer are they also theses types of personal guards, are they dead, did they defect, there’s a lot of questions left

All i know, no matter how it ends. If the finale isnt at least 45 minutes- an hour, like the premier was, ill be very disappointed

Some of the unanswered questions will be kept for a new series.

I still hope Scorch gets confronted and sees that they aren't just some rogue clones but actual competent fighters who could even find Tantiss. Then tells them that they will never get anyone outta here as he was the one who made sure that no explosives or any force can break in or out. So he would tell them that his team was suspected to have disobeyed order 66 but because they couldn't prove it and they still were of high value to the Empire, his team got separated. If they can help reunite his team, then he will help them get in and free whoever they want and even get Hemlock for them. Then when it's the cavalry has arrived, we could see Delta Squad coming with the clones and Boss could call to Scorch saying that the cavalry has arrived and Scorch would make a wild joke that makes Hemlock look at him confused and Scorch knocks him out cold. Then the whole big fight would go down and Delta Squad reunited would fight their last battle and help the others escape as they fight against platoons of Imperial troopers. Scorch could be setting up explosives and tell Wrecker to blow up this place when they're at safe distance and both get goofy on blowing stuff up and during the final stance of Delta Squad, Scorch would see them being far enough and call Wrecker to wreck this place and kaboom🤌💯

I don't see how Rex could possibly show up at Tantiss, as we all know Rex survives through (at least) ROTJ. If Rex knows the location of Tantiss, so will the future rebellion. Yes, Disney is great at destroying and retconning Star Wars, so this just might be another instance of them doing that with some feeble explanation, or no explanation at all.

It'll leave holes in the story, that will lead to another series. The Disney power brokers will struggle to maintain relevance (and $$), and bleed the story dry.

Me personally, I'm hoping for the long speculated clone rebellion and an answer to big mysteries and unanswered questions; like what happened to Cmdr. Cody? Who the assassin is? Is Tech really dead? And so many more. I really, really, hope the last episode is over an hour long to really flesh out the ending of the Bad Batch's story and the clone era. I would hate to see such a beloved era end in a rushed 25min episode with hundreds of loose ends

There's no way they gave Hilo a name for no reason. I think he's loyal to Wolffe, and for the other reg clones, you can tell they're a much younger generation, both by their voice and the fact that they still have service to fulfill this for into the Empire. I think they're loyal to Wolffe as well, a mentor and someone to look up to. However, CX-2 could have easily concluded that Rex and the Bad Batch escaped too easily, likely receiving help.

tbh.. I´m scared about the timer. We have one single episode left. And there a so many questions I want to be answered. We have the "main plot" where we have to see how the bad batch gets out of there (if they get out). We have yet to see how Wolfe ends up with Rex (bc rn its not sure IF Wolfe gets framed as a traitor). And I personally just want to see what happened with codey. IF it turns out that codey is the assassin.... I gues im gonna start baycotting star wars again for the next years (like I did after episode XIII) bc that would be just lazy writting. For me Star wars started with Rex and Cody visiting rishi moon outpost. So I just pray codey gets an end suiting for his character!

Help me understand. I thought Cody was killed in the early episodes of Season 2. Was he not the one Rampart shot in the back for trying to disobey orders? I forget. Was that Rex who we think is dead but then we see later in that season. My memory is stuck on Cody.

I don't understand the assassin thing, all the times i heard he speak, he speaks like Crosshair in a snake-like manner, i can't hear tech nor Cody but Crosshair either the original or a copy, that would explain the other assassin telling the clones to ask Crosshair how to get ot tantis, and why his wrist is hurt, either cloning malfunction or the other clone is stronger and hurted him

Something else that fans have started to notice as well as they’re probably disappointed in is that it’s probably only going to be about 24 minute long episode.. when everyone’s asking for an hour or a hour and 30 minute long episode like during season one and since that’s not going to happen(probably) its not gonna be as storytelling/action pack as it could’ve been

the last episode will set up another clone show. It has to. There is no way way they can wrap up cody's story, the bad batch's story, redeem wolffe, and provide closure for echo, omega, and howzer in one episode
