Another reason for me to believe that shadow clone is Cody is that his last appearance mirrors the moment that he executes order 66 on Kenobi, he fell from a high altitude into a mass of water as well as his jedi general in the clone wars. Edit: moreover, in my opinion, i think it doesn't make much sense script-wise that Tech survives a high altitude fall just to survive one again as a shadow trooper.

The odd thing is the commando clone went along with wolf which is again odd cause from what we’ve seen the commandos are super loyal. This little interaction could show that even the commandos are starting to question the empire especially scorch cause he might know a bit more of what’s going on Tanntis and could reach a breaking point

The assassin shouldn't be tech he should be just dead i liked tech but they can't keep bring charchters back that made a big sacrifce to safe the rest even if he was alive he was a defective clone like crosshair that cannot be turned Cody at the other hand would make sense and be cool to see him back and i can see it happening that its is cody thats what iam hoping for in the hope he gets turned to the light side

I think he will be experimented on Tantis, and he will be freed by the Bad Batch because he was a few sandwiches short of a picnic when he was in Rebels.

I was thinking more of a Darker Tale, I want Cody to be a Clone X Trooper and have Cody face against his former friend. Similar to how Kenobi fought Anakin on Mustafar.

Wolfe never completely loses his allegiance to the Empire. He makes many transmissions to the Empire while in exile with Gregor and Rex. They tell us that in Rebels!

I have a feeling if tech is alive it’s gonna be something akin to how echo was locked up I get a feeling Cody is apart of the cx program and likely took over what crosshair would’ve been if he had been converted and I feel like a combination of the 2 working against the rogue clones and the bad batch will be how the season will end as I’ve heard some possible rumors to a movie with the bad batch

I think and honestly hope the clone assassin is cody not tech, too many characters “die” in star wars and come back. Nobody staying dead makes it feel like theres no stakes, unless they showcase techs insane intelligence by figuring out how to break his fall as hes falling with something other than just landing in water its gonna feel like lazy writing

It can't be tech for two reasons. 1) Conversion failed in Crosshair due to "defective" ness. 2) Bringing Tech back cheapens his sacrifice for the group. It is more likely to be Command Cody or sergeant Slick.

It really devalues Techs sacrifice if it is him and I don't think Filoni would go down that path. Remember the whole Marrok was Ezra, from Ahsoka, so many were convinced it was him, how wrong they were.

I personally don't think the assassin is Tech. Crosshair said that at Tantiss, they tried to break Crosshair's mind, but he was able to resist. I feel like if they weren't able to break Crosshair's mind, they certaintly wouldn't be able to break Tech's.

I hope Cody going awol was just a way of saying that Rex or someone in his operation got cody out and to somewhere safe and not being an assassin trooper. As for Tech, I rather he have just died so it doesn't make the scene of his "death" feel insignificant, and if he did become the assassin trooper why would they wait to deploy him when he knows clone force 99 the best? I hope Scorch decides to go awol instead of staying with the empire, would be cool to see some member of Delta squad reunite.

2 things. 1. I definitely believe the Shadow Clone is Cody. Just screams it as the empire knew he went AWOL. If it was so easy to find clones, the empire would ensure someone of his stature would not "make it out unscaved." Not to mention, he used the same bowie knife in his fight against Crosshair. 2. I will note that it did mention that Wolffe retired as a commander. The empire acknowledged this in Rebels. As much as it would be sick for him to be rescued, I think he stays with the Empire for the duration of his active service. He may however, become an informant for Rex. But I'm not sure. Regardless this is coming to be the best season by far. I do wish Tech didn't die, but his character made sense to. Crosshair needed his redemption arc, wrecker is a fan favorite, hunter the leader, and Echo dying wouldn't mean much. In conclusion, I could see Wrecker dying in the season finale, Crosshair sacrificing himself for Hunter and Omega to escape, and Hunter succumbing to some sort of wound. Echo would continue with Rex for the time being, Howzer also dies, and Omega lives on that Greek like island until she is brought back in another series.

I'm really hoping this isn't Tech. Tech grew with me and ended up being my favorite bad batch crew member. Now I'm starting to take a liking to Cross Hair. I didn't like him at first. I hate to see Tech die, but if they actually did kill him off. It will make this team seem not as invincible. I do think though the last season for the bad batch will have a sad ending.

I think Wolfe will pay for his choice and that we will se the process to turn clones into agents as it is done to Wolfe. That would explain why he's the way he is in Rebels.

I don’t think he’s going to be jailed - remember in Rebels Wolffe was on Imperial *retirement* and they knew exactly where he was. IIRC he was also still providing semi-regular status reports, although they were clearly not accurate ones since he never told them that Rex & Gregor were with him. And wasn’t the 501st trooper in Kenobi confirmed to be a Teth survivor? I don’t think “retirement” was a party good deal for the surviving clones, but I do t think the millions of survivors were all killed directly.

It isn't Cody. Cody is loyal to the Empire. The last time we saw him he had executed Obi-Wan. Doesn't make sense to slide him into this role just because we want to see him. Tech makes more sense.

But then, if Wolfe goes to tantiss, why would he call the empire in rebels?

I would like to see Cody in a redemption. And over powering empire mind control and saving his brothers. I feel Tech coming back won’t help the cause as much. In rebels.there is the three clones and Cody would fit in better than Tech. He has fallen and maybe plugged in the CX program to help the empire but to bring him back as a falllen good guy went bad is not the way to treat Tech in the series

I'm a little confused. Commander Wolfe clearly has the scar on his head shows his inhibitor chip was removed. Once you know the Empire put a chip in your head that made you kill the Jedi. That's all that bothers me about this part of the show. Again Wolfe clearly has had his inhabiter chip removed but he's still fighting for the Empire, makes no sense. Why? Would you stay fighting for people that put a chip in your head to kill your Jedi Generals. A really big hole there I've never heard of being filled. Think about it. Did I miss something? Not for nothing but I think that's Crosshair in the suit not tech and the Crosshair with the team right now is actually a clone but I don't think Crosshair's aware he's a clone huh? I think Tech survived and is also locked up somewhere on Tantis. The inhibitor chip part I just mentioned really is bugging me. I see a huge hole there since I saw the scar on Wolfe's head.
