This 90 amp alternator upgrade is a significant improvement on original setup. Fit's perfectly. I didn't mention the 2nd (domestic/travel power) alternator fitted to the engine in the clip - Virtually all the Beta 1505 engines just had the single Lucas alternator. The original charge lead is only 6mm cable (not 10mm as I stated) to the starter motor. I fit 35 (or 50mm) to the domestic batteries and increase earth cable if necessary. If applicable charging circuit is rearranged so alternator feeds domestic batteries (instead of starter) to limit the current through split charge relay. I can adapt wiring to suit an Adverc or Sterling battery management system. Other charging upgrades available for different engines - check out my website for details and give me call.
