On the movie point it always pissed me off how stormbreaker went to Thor, that should have been saved for beta jay bill and Thor should of just had jarnborgn that would have made sense as the ‘kings weapon’ as that was his axe anyways in the comics. Beta rat bill just getting dicked over massively and like everyone says what an underrated character.

Totally agree. I don’t know exactly why but it just looks great. A comic book style I don’t like is realistic. Idk but it just doesn’t look as cool. I prefer like the ridges lines of comic book art.

I love the "Hook" analogy during this comic in the background. Bill is Rufio who held the lost boys together while Peter Pan was away, but once Pan gets his mojo back everyone ignores him.

Kinda sad. At Thor’s lowest point Beta Ray was their for Thor, even offering stormbreaker to Thor when Thor was no longer worthy. Tables are turned and Thor’s like, “ sorry dude, have a nice trip.” Not cool.

Thor was helping Galactus power up so they could fight the Black Winter. Bill got in the way. If not for Bill's fight with Thor the population of the fifth special planet could have been saved. Bill was not betrayed. When Thor made him war master he had access to all weapons in Asgards armory.

I think you overlooked an underlying theme throughout the story: the movie Hook was playing, in particular scenes of Rufio, who was Pan’s replacement and was defeated by Captain Hook when he was told by Pan to stand down.

Possible MCU Origin: After destroying Asgard, Surtur survived and went on to destroy Beta Ray Bill's home planet. He survived and seeks vengeance on Surtur. At some point he finds out that Loki and Thor let Surtur loose intentionally and that causes some problems too.

I love it when the ridiculousness that is thor gets called out. People just shyte on the little guys. Hawkeye, black widow, bill...personally I like it when even the ones that have superpowers like bill are shown in a way people can relate to. Sure thor has some epic moments, and that's a lot of what comics are about but it's refreshing not see a struggle that isn't about saving the universe. It's the internal battle that resonates.
