Worst watcher ever. He only exists to add another flawed character to the story. People love flawed characters. Oh it's a HERO! but he has a dark secret... Oh it's a VILLIAN! who is secretly trying to do the right thing... Oh he's a GENIUS! but he has severely debilitating Attention Deficit Disorder... Oh it's a buzzard! but it's also an aardvark. A morally ambiguous aardvark who was secretly a god the entire time...

It's probably because this channel isn't his passion anymore and he's lost touch with the people who watch his videos. There's no way people who watch his stuff wouldn't have loved to see this when it first came out.

@@Dakonaton if you've been following his channel over the years you'd be able to tell it's no longer his passion. He's said numerous times he doesn't enjoy doing the stories and enjoys making up the What Ifs. The quality and quantity of the content has taken a huge hit over the last year and a half. Ever since Patreon has come into the picture is when this pretty much started. You have to pay him to see the videos he really enjoys doing when he used to just put everything on here. Now he has a second KZfaq channel that he is always so excited about and puts his energy there. That's his passion now. The fact he turned this into 3 videos says this channel is on autopilot. Old Rob would've released this as a single video this late into the game and with how short it is. He's doing the bare minimum now just to get the revenue from this channel.

I love these trippy, existential, cosmic stories. This and Al Ewing's Ultimates are some of my favorite comics. They show what Marvel is best at

As a kid, Silver Surfer was my favorite comic book character. As I grew older I realized he was ridiculously OP, but I still really enjoyed his stories. This story is really really cool.

He's not exactly black, but he's definitely not a stereotypical northern European either. His complexion is somewhere in between, probably what we would view as a biracial complexion.

I like Cates (SSB, Venom, Thor runs all excellent) but Hickman is just as good a writer. And since you want a recent example I’ll just say House of X/Powers of X as well as X of Swords and leave it at that, to say nothing of his Fantastic Four and Avengers/New Avengers runs.

@@Jrseydevil What do you want me to elaborate on? Thanos Wins was crap, his Black Winter run on Thor was absolute crap, Silver Surfer Black was mediocre at best. In the first two stories Cates recycled his own ideas. What story has he done that’s actually wrapped up satisfyingly?

Wow what a dope story ... wish I had picked these up back they were in trade. It really fits in nicely with the overall Galactus and Surfer stories without harming things as they are, too much. The art reminded me of this manga a friend had handed to me a long time ago.
