I didn't really know much about them, they seem to be pushing for a stronger presence in the UK with them appearing on a number of tool store website now. Seem to be good quality but priced towards the upper end of the market. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I have had the adjustable t-handle hex and torx beta tools sets for 5-years. They are heavily used in F1 and automotive industry m. I bought them for my bike repair and maintenance purposes, but I also use them in HVAC work but not electrical work. These adjustable t-handles are super nice and are adjustability allows you to get into very tight spaces hence their popularity in F1 when engine packaging and aerodynamics mean extremely tight spaces.

They do seem to make some good tools. I haven't really seen them in much use in the UK, but haven't really seen them advertised either. Think the UK is a relatively small tool market, and there are already a significant number of brands already established. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Beta is a brand I've seen in the USA ussaly a tool box or pop up 3 teired tool chest. These items are easy to order here and the people who had these were vw mechanics apparently they were the tool storage you got. Besides that I do have a affinity towards knipex, pb swiss, wera or vessel. The beta look like clones on witte and they have a bed bit holder. Maybe a rebrand but no guarantee since everyone copies each other. Interesting to see some new tools.

I suspect that Beta have a mix of own manufactured items and some rebrands. Usually a company likes to advertise when they make tools in their own country and I don't see any of that on the ones I got. They seem pretty good quality, will have to see how they last against other tools. Thanks for watching.

You mentioned PB Swiss Tools in the video, where do you buy them from? I used to buy them from "only quality tools" but they've sadly closed down now and I go out of my way to avoid Amazon. I do love that the PB Swiss screwdrivers leave a bit more of the screwdriver poking out than most. Hollow ground screwdrivers like PB Swiss and the Beta low profile one you had are so much better and disappointingly rare. I've got some Beta ratchet rings I bought years ago from Hayleys. Went in for some belts and came out with some spanners! Of all the tools I have like that, they're among the nicest. Have you found the twiddly-handled ratchet actually useful?

You can get PB Swiss from the Hoffmann Group. They have a pretty good range and stock holding; www.hoffmann-group.com/GB/en/houk/v2/search?search=PB+SWISS+TOOLS&manufacturer=PB+SWISS+TOOLS I hadn't come across Beta before, just seen them starting to be stocked in some of the shops I buy from. The roto-ratchet is more of a nice to have really. Helps out in a few limited situations, but generally you can get away with an extension with the ratchet etc.
