I have the new HappyModel BNF Mobula6 ELRS V2.0, If I do this update will they still bind or will I have to update the AIO SPI board as well? Thanks for the content.

It depends on what version of ELRS you're updating to. The general rule is, the TX(module) and Receiver needs to be on the same "Major" firmware number. So if your TX is on 2.x, your RX needs to be on 2.x. If you have 3.x with a 2.x, they will not communicate. If you have 2.0 in your Mobula6, then your modules need to have 2.x. Fimware 3.0 was recently released, but I don't think there is support for SPI receivers as of yet.

I’m looking to DIY a controller that talks to an eLRS module, does the controller talk to the module over serial, SPI, etc.. or does it directly feed the ppm/pwm/digital signals to the module?

Sorry, I don’t have the best answer for you, but I would assume the radio send the signals directly to the model. BetaFPV might have a better and more accurate answer for you.

Elrs module input is usually crsf protocol. Can't do pwm ppm. Good luck !

I'm running 250mw with one of the very first modules available. It is not enough in all my pro gigs. I can't out run my video. I'm hoping 1w will get me to the place where I can outrun the video feed.

Yeh, I have the smaller module and run 250mw as well. It's doing a great job in direct, line of sight flying. I've used 500mw and it showed great results. I've never had a use for 1watt, but I'm sure it would work well for your application.

Is this made to install on the Jumper T Lite TX?

Unfortunately it is not. This is a micro module. You'll need a Nano module for the Jumper T-Lite.

The one I have is the BetaFPV Nano TX module. I think the one you're looking at is the HappyModel version made specifically for the T-Lite. Alot of people have had success with that module.

I don’t have the X9 Lite to test and confirm, but I’m actively researching to see if it’s compatible.

It appears that this 1 watt module is not compatible with the X9 Lite due to the smaller module bay of the x9 lite. You'll have to use a nano style module instead.

There are no 2Watt ELRS Module, but other Pilots are getting over 60Km on 1watt.

I have not. I don't do long-range testing. But many have stated these performance numbers. Here are some official range test numbers at 25mw and 100mw to give you an example. www.expresslrs.org/2.0/info/long-range/
