Since 2019 Beterviev has only stopped one before the seventh (flatfooted Joe Smith) on that Bivol has better hand speed and footwork than any Beterviev has thought. So defo think Bivol on points! (Although possible late stoppage)

But realistically what's more likely, a fighter having their highest ever levels of HGH and testosterone naturally at 39 (despite production of both dropping after 30) or an elite boxer in a notoriously dirty sport mistiming their cycle?

They basically had a lawyers only meeting to decide if they could event have a proper hearing & Benns pricey legal team won. There’s an appeal on going & bird said he’s not boxing in the U.K. till that’s done….or did you miss that bit….mate?

It was a brave performance by Callum but we all knew Beterbiev was always going to win let's be honest. The only fight that is going to be any real competition to Beterbiev is Bivol. I wouldn't bet against Beterbiev in that fight either.

Beterbiev was scary, looked as good as ever. Smith felt the power early on and his own shots didn't seem to dent Beterbiev at all. A dominant, intimidating beat-down.

Artur Betterbiev has power, boxing skills, ring IQ, great footwork, lateral movement and loads of energy. He never gas out. All of these skills make him unbeatable, make him a superhuman!

Got up early for this one. I thought that Beterbiev at almost 39 could have an off night. These happen as you get older. He looked very motivated and fit. Footspeed was still good. Suppose the old eastern block system of hundreds of amateur fights and few pro fights, plus his dedication means he still looks very fresh.

Trust me, theye NEVER have the multiple - hundreds of amateur fights they make out. If you honestly think they wouldn't be worn out by their mid - late twenties you're naive. e.g. Do the maths on Lomachenkos caree stats (including his years off to 'Ukraine dance', ROFL!! ) and give yourself a wake up ( and a laugh : )

What r I talking about?..I use yo do boxing in Russia only 2 years and have 16 amateur fight by that time. Every time in gym (3-5 days a week) you have at least 6 spar with different boxers. This is big deal compared to US boxing gyms where you start spare only after 3-4 month..lol..in East Europe we start fight on second day in gym

Callum Smith is a quality, world class fighter, he's definitely worthy off world title fights, he needs to either go up to cruiserweight cuz he's big enough to do well! But Arthur is just a unique special fighter, Bivol won't beat arthur,, no way, he seems like he's never come out 2nd gear lol

Respect for Callum Smith but he has to change something drastically for him to compete with the top fighters. He has all the attributes but Artur Beterbiev was stronger for a reason, its because he is a devout Muslim, who has a strict and much healthier diet, plus he fasts a minimum of 30 days throughout the year.

I say beterbiev has that caveman power and strength 😂 dense and doesnt even load up fully on punches but the power is REAL. He can actually box too. He stepped off smith, poked out the jab which was hurtful and then when he git in close unloaded powerful short combinations. He doesnt even need to load up fully and still gets kos😮

Hes right Eddie Hearn. But, Callum Smith still a champion in my book & has nothing to reproach himself about. Smith has done it all like Eddie says, so he should be proud of himself. I have to say that Beterbiev is much better than i anticipated. I think he raises his game depending on who is in front of him which makes him a very dangerous opponent. I think he could take Bivol.

Eddie's lack of disappointment or shock just shows he truly didn't expect Smith to get through this..this was like a big money send off for Smith...not holding it against Smith, he deserves to retire with some cash to show for all the years. Eddie Hearn has all the British hyped fighters who will eventually lose to better fighters. Callum Smith is a game opponent but Artur Beterbiev has to much punching power, the patience he had was impressive and scary. The Bivol fight will be interesting but how does Bivol out box Artur Beterbiev without getting hit?

@@MicWarsHis Excellency is a term usually used for prime ministers, presidents and cabinet ministers, but in Arab countries they use it for anyone and everyone who works for a public agency. It’s a bit embarrassing that everyone in boxing is using it, tbh.

I’ve always said Yarde is the Brits best LH, however I saw an interview this week we’re it was said Beterbiev was hiding the jaw infection during that fight and I wonder how true that is now ;-)
