The problem I have with budget brands is that I can’t wear any synthetic/plastic fibers, even in blends. I don’t see much point in linen or cotton items lined with polyester, either. The whole point of wearing these light, breathable fabrics is to stay cool and dry, but polyester ruins this effect completely. I’d rather buy fewer, but better, items that I can actually wear.

Great video, I do prefer higher end clothing and shoes . If the items are a bit out of my budget I know what designs , colors etc are trending and I look for them in more affordable prices. Please read before you think I'm being terse or nasty. I'm truly not. But maybe today is a day to make some changes 😊 The phrase "on a budget" or "budget-friendly". Why don't people understand the meaning of the word budget? The meaning of budget is: a plan that shows how much money you have and how you will spend it or the amount of money you have for something. Why is the word budget now used to mean "a small amount of money"? And what IS a small amount? Let's take a look at using the word properly: If a person has $1000 to spend on clothing items that's their budget. Whereas my amount is going to a smaller budget of $50. We each have a budget: one is simply much larger than the other. 😊 Your "budget" midi cotton dress of $178 or the silver bangle at $150 is way more than thrift store shoppers like me have to spend. We watch your videos to get some ideas but our "budget" still doesn't allow us to purchase many of those items. But they DO give us great ideas to shop for "look-alikes" on OUR teeny budget😊😊 You can shop on a thrift store "budget" and create a wardrobe that gets you "You look great!" compliments as long as what you purchase isn't worn-out or ill-fitting and oftentimes you can find higher-end pieces too for very little money! 🥰🥰😀
