Alonso lacks any leadership skills in my opinion. It just seems like he's either not able to, or doesn't care to take on a leadership role on this club. Body language, what he says and how he says it would put anyone to sleep, regardless of how many HR's he hits. This team, like any team, needs locker room chemistry.

Since 2004 the Yankees are 186-165 against the Red Sox. Neither team has dominated the other but the Yankees have the overall edge while Boston has won both of their postseason matchups (an ALDS and a one game wild card) Past two years though Boston is 13-6 vs the Yankees.

Mike, I think that the technology and power in these newer cars are a contributing factor in these accidents. Even the stock Hyundais and Kias can do well over 120 easy. Kids are just getting licensed and have access to cars that they’re not ready for.

Mike, speeding is an epidemic here in Maryland. I saw a car pass me last week at at least 125 mph swearing around other vehicles. It's insane. Police are starting to using cameras and radar here to enforce speeding, but only they can do so much and they can't be everywhere either.

Would it kill the Yankees to pitch Devers inside? Maybe a pitch or two up around the chin to kinda send a bit of a message to him that he's not gonna own the inner half? I dont understand the Yankees way of thinking about this. Papi owned them for years doing the same thing Devers is doing and he was never given anything high & tight.

Mike is assuming Stanton will be good when he comes back. His history is that he either injures something else or goes back to striking out. But Jeff McNeil to Yankees might make sense.

@@claydouglas2526 commitment to being a Yankee and playing for the City - he and his agent only care about the next highest bidder. That's what you get with free agents and trades. It's all about the farm system - home grown - buy in to what it means to be a Yankee (Volpe, Rice, Wells).

Rice has done what he can so far. If he is hitting when/if Rizzo comes back you cannot bench him. And why, Mikey, would you "subtract those three at bats"? They happened.

Soto has to come back ~ without him this team is a tear down save Judge and Cole.... a tear down...Stanton, DJ , Rizzo are all done in terms of effectiveness....they all have to be replaced & Torres is gone....

Stanton might have another year...but his days are dwindling fast...He bombs just enough in the regular season to be useful but he isn't a guy I want with runners in scoring position against good playoff pitching... his OBP is .300..... garbage.
