Let's be real here, Call of Duty is not fully saved in the eyes of veteran players like myself.
But I have to say, this game is a really big step in the right direction and I am honestly quite enjoying this 'beta' so far.
We shall see how Sledgehammer will handle this game's lifecycle (still a little sour about Vanguard...)
Small rant:
This game is NOT worth €80/$70. It feels like Modern Warfare II if Infinity Ward actually gave a shii about what the community thinks.
While it is a fun game in its current form even though a lot of stuff needs to be adjusted, the game just feels like a big seasonal update for Modern Warfare II.
Small conspiracy that a lot of people and I think about; Activision held back Modern Warfare II so Sledgehammer could basically 'fix' Modern Warfare II and then sell it as "Modern Warfare III" for full price again.
Anyway, Infinity Ward should never be the lead studio of a Call of Duty game ever again. They haven't made a good game since 2009, because that's when the old employees that actually knew how to make a good IW CoD game still worked at their studio.
Campaigns are fire tho, just not the rest of the game.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
