The lens is really nice. Thinking of buying a used X-E2 with this lens. For a small compact second camera. Next to my A7IV.

@@kevinheg8814 I’d definitely recommend that! It would be a sweet camera to take with you all the time when you don’t want to bring a full frame setup. I do it so often haha

Maybe you can try the Sony 40mm 2.5 I think on a A7CR it’s also a crazy combo. But also nice on the A7IV. Thinking of buying the 40, but already got the 35 1.8 So not sure if it’s worth to have both.

Definitely sounds like a good combo to have! I do want to eventually go more condense on the Sony cameras with the a7cii and small lenses! But it’s kinda tough to say but if you have an a7cR and a 35mm you might as well just extra crop in since you have so many megapixels to play with it.

What filters are you using on this lens and filter thread size? I've heard people have issues using step up rings on this lens. 39mm is such a weird filter thread.

I have a tifen black pro mist filter 1/8! And used a step up ring from a 39mm to 49 I believe it is.
