From my recent trip to Taiwan, I got to link up with a man named Spencer Chen, who was gracious to lend me one of his DIY VESC one-wheel board. I was absolutely blown away with all the cool features he's come up with!! With all this talk of Floatwheel recently, it's no better time to introduce him and his equally amazing engineering talent.
Do you already know of him? Imho he's top 5 in the world in terms of being able to create his own board.. He even hand sawed his own rails back in the OG days! But craziest part? He had never ridden an FM onewheel before, during and after the process of building his board..
Which feature would be your favorite?? How do you think this board compares to the Floatwheel? (aside from the motor and battery)
