Monkey Man comes from the elite talent that is Dev Patel and Jordan Peele. With a stellar cast we get a familiar tale with a promising twist? Or will it be much of what we’ve already seen? Better than KGF? Or more like John Wick meets KGF? Better yet, any chance this will be its own thing?
This looks packed with mythology, vengeance and redemption themes and plenty of action, plus if Dev Patel co-wrote, stars and directs this film, it’s a close enough auteur piece to get us to the theaters.
