What you can use next time when travelling around Bavaria is the day ticket called Bayern Ticket. It can be used in all public transportation around Bavaria, except on high speed trains. But no worry, the regional train between Munich and Nuremberg is known for being the fastest regional train line in Germany. And you can also use this ticket to go to Ulm in Baden-Württemberg or Salzburg in Austria. Really cool video guys!

@Tick Rob Wow, thanks for the tip! After going all over Europe by train, we found that Germany's was one of our favorites. The trains were always on time, clean and incredibly quick. It was a fun, and new experience for us Americans.

We only visited 4 cities in Germany, but Nuremberg is definitely a strong contender for our favorite! Such an amazing atmosphere there.

Tip for the next time: There is an amazing youth hostel in the Kaiserburg (emperor's castle).

(castle by the train station?) Not a castle, it is part of the ancient city wall of Nürnberg, a watchtower named "Frauentorturm".

Yes, those towers got upgraded to their present form between 1556 and 1559 in order to be able to place cannons on them.

OMG! Just today I was saying to my friend, when we go to Munich in a few weeks, we need to visit Nuremberg cuz it's so close, and now I see this video, talk about coincidences (or not). Great video btw! :)

I’m glad you are enjoying them! The backpacks are from Columbia and they are wonderful. Columbia calls them the Street Elite Convertible. Perfect for travel, with most the zippers facing towards the wearer to prevent petty theft. They are also made of a water repellent material. Great backpacks!

Hi. Which hotel did you stay in Munich ? The hostel in Nuremberg looks very nice. We may do a daytrip to Nuremberg and plan to visit the Nueschwanstein Castle ( and then back to Munich ) as well.

Can you send me a map of the nürnberghbf? I will be coming t Germany first. And i will get only 10mins to change platform. So i am very nervous about it. One map would be helpful for me

Hello! We do not have a map of Nuremberg hbf but there are some on Google. Also in Germany if you have a short connection they will announce on the speakers what platform you need to be on so you should be safe 🙂
