This channel should have way more followers. Incredible content guys. That's amazing budgeting! Me and my Girl went only to Paris, Rome, and Florence last month. We started watching your videos before we left for research. The whole trip cost us about 5k for 11 days. We had a great time of course but you guys saw way more and were in europe for 91 days! Keep making these awesome videos, the followers will come for sure!

@Sandro Frias Well that's a very kind thing of you to say! Thank you very much. Our style of travel definitely skews more budget side and there are certainly drawbacks to that, but we have fun still at least 😄 Did you guys have a favorite out of the places you visited?

All I can really recommend is a restaurant called Bouillon Chartier in paris. They have two locations but we went to the one at 7 Rue du Faubourg Montmartre. Amazing prices, we spent less than 50 euros. We had 2x appetizers, 2x large meals, 2x bottles of wine, and dessert. The place was packed and I can understand why. Everytime we go to Paris that will definitely be one of our stops. Stay save out there guys!

I really like your honesty on what it costs to travel. It is not cheap like "digital nomads" want you to believe. I am heading back to Europe for the first time in many years and expect it to be expensive.

The Great Euro Pass Debate - was it worth the money in your opinion? did it alter/hinder your spontaneity? did you feel the need to keep moving to validate it’s worth? I totally understand the over spending in Italy. I spent next to nothing in Paris because everything was either free or outrageously expensive or above “ my status “ in my own mind. Whereas Italy is like a gateway drug with so many options seeming almost within budget and tangible possibilities to make your visit unforgettable. And the energy is contagious and the necessity to be a part of it. Damn you La Dolce Vita. That being said, congrats on your budget. It ain’t easy. I was wasting time on Skyscanner last night trying to find 12 hour layovers in expensive places like Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney en route to affordable places like Vietnam and Malaysia. Wanderlust is a powerful thing!

We have a lot of mixed feelings about the Eurail pass. On one hand, the flexibility it offers and the peace of mind of not having to pay for a ticket all the time was nice. On the other hand, the app was incredibly buggy and the extra reservation fees a lot of countries tack on, really started to stack up. I would say that it is worth it if you are traveling for a long period of time, are seeking a more rapid pace and are really only interested in the major cities. Otherwise, it's not really worth it. I agree, Paris was one of the most expensive cities that we visited, and we found ourselves eating sandwiches in our hotel room a lot. It was also one of the many places in Europe that we felt incredibly underdressed. The affordability in Italy can be both a blessing and a curse. Things are cheap, but going in with this mindset, made it that much easier to spend the money. Trying to find short layovers in expensive cities is a smart move! I bet sooner or later, especially as things really start to open up, that perfect flight will pop up. Good luck on your searches!

Can you make a Video about your luggage/Backpack? It Looks so small and well organized. When I traveled it was much bigger.

@butenbremer1965 All good guesses, and certainly places that we intend to visit! But not yet - the visa situation for those countries are still impossible or very difficult.

@@OnePackWanderers We’ve recently done one about our extra budgeting we had to factor in while travelling this summer for corona virus tests etc. But we definitely should do one about our normal backpacking expenses because we find this super interesting also! Thanks for the inspiration guys ☺️

I thought 90 days was the limit How did you manage to add 1 day to it?
@OnePackWanderers
@OnePackWanderers 2 жыл бұрын
You are correct that 90 days is the limit in the Schengen area. We did spend a few days in Romania and Bulgaria which were outside of it.
