Getting a Coupon for and extra 200 off for the Q Revo it was a no brainer, and I have hard wood all on my first floor and it does an amazing job. I upgraded from an S4 and I was surprised at quiet the Revo is compared to the Revo

Less research snd develop for the Q Revo. And due to the price it'll get more sales. That means more money.

They probably have independent teams working on these robots. The goal is to dominate all price points in the market, the fact that the Q Revo is so good means they dominate that segment, and that team will probably get bigger projects.

Amazon reviews say these don't sense when bin is full. It empties dustbin only after cleaning so some folks make a complex set of schedules with each room as its own schedule so the bin will empty after completing each schedule (i.e. after each room), otherwise the robot bin fills up too fast. Your thoughts?

Yes, that's accurate. Most use a time based system controlled through the app. Only Roomba has this feature, but I don't think it's that precise.

Any thoughts on the Q Revo’s poor performance picking up strands of hair? I would have expected it to perform similarly to the S7 Ultra in this test.

I just returned the Dreame that piece of crap has no power and keeps disconnecting from the internet! I had to re-install the robot and app over and over again! And cleaning the base board sucked!!
