This is a taste test/review of the new Betty Crocker Mug Treats in the Triple Chocolate Cake Mix with fudge frosting and Hot Fudge Brownie Mix with fudge topping flavors. They were $2.98 each at Walmart.
* Triple Chocolate Cake 1 pouch mix + 1 pouch icing (89g) = 330 calories
* Hot Fudge Brownie 1 pouch mix + 1 pouch icing (99g) = 380 calories

Had the fudge brownies for the first time today and they are absolutley amazing for the cost and quality. The topping tastes almost exactly like Hershey syrup but the cake/brownie is so good it all gels.

I saw these yesterday at Walmart and laughed as you can do the same thing with regular cake mixes, oil, and an egg. Your video made me think again. Only water? And it comes with frosting?? And there's 4 servings per box??? Ok, I might have to give these a try.

Tried a Hot Cocoa brownie one yesterday and it was overwhelmingly sweet--even without the frosting. I threw away the rest to prevent myself from getting diabetes and a cavity.

I think i didnt add enough water. I got the cookie one and it didnt fluff up at all. If anything it looked like it caved in on itself. Is it because its supposed to be a cookie?

I like your video, we just got the brownie one from the betty crocker brand so i wanted to see someones opinion. I wonder if there would be a way to make into a lava cake? Like maybe putting half the batter, adding the fudge packet, then putting the rest of the batter on top? I prefer eating mines with a small cup of blue bell homeade vanilla ice cream

If you like coffee flavour, substitute brewed coffee woth the water that goes in the brownie..tastes so good.

If you bought Duncan Hines mug cakes you won't get frosting with them. Only the Betty Crocker mixes come with frosting packets.

These are horrible! I'm eating the brownie one now. It tastes crunchy and chewy at the same time. As you chew it, it tastes like when you eat cotton candy and when you get right down to the end of the cotton candy piece that you ate, it's chewy. Yuck! Waste of money.
