She probably could have afforded a much more expensive dress, but her mother wanted to pay for it and she wanted to give her the pleasure of doing so. She was considerate and stayed within the budget that she felt was reasonable for her mother to afford.

The first bride was such a breath of fresh air! I can't understand why the stylist would bring most of the dresses that were above her budget. It seemed that the more expensive they were, the less I liked them (not based on the price, but how they looked). I am so glad that she found a beautiful dress and below her budget!

When I had a formal wedding, I have a color and asked each person to choose the appropriate range in that color to match their undertones and something they either had or would wear again. They were ALL unique and beautiful. Because I felt they were all great people and would nit do something inappropriate. It worked wonderfully and no one outshined the bride.

My brother’s fiancé is doing the same thing. We are all in shades of teal-peacock blue but picking our own dresses. She approved them all, but we chose and paid for them. Mine is very cottagecore, and I can’t wait to wear it to the wedding and other formal events. I don’t really have any nice dresses :)

When I helped my Granddaughter find her Wedding Dress, my adrenaline was so out of control. I was so happy and excited. The store was understaffed and I was helping other brides as well with their dresses and suggestions. They seriously asked me if I would consider coming to work for them . I would love to, I'd work/ help for the great feeling and happiness of others, not money., but can't see well enough to drive at night,( night blindness), and it was a long drive. ( I'm 69!). If only I had ever been that excited when I was getting married. Sure made me think. To late now. But, if a Bride isn't excited, she best wait. Wait for true love , trust, happiness, the Forever.

Am basically on the brides side but she, herself, came off as so unnecessarily rude when speaking to the 2 bridesmaids. She would come off better if she could smile , be firm but nice when explaining her position. She came off as unpleasant rude person to me.

Go with the brides black choice for dress, red for shoes... can add additional color with red lipstick, red nail polish, red hair piece, dip the ends of hair in red dye... Sooooo many choices & still respect the bride!

I was scanning comments to see if it was just me. I might have said JC Penney to soften it a bit but cheap is the right word. I couldn't get past the bra cups screaming, "look at us." I agree, but in another episode she overheard some clients calling her out that she wasn’t showing her face to them. So, she made it a point to show her face. Also, I agree the whole fakery of her compliments, but if you ever worked in retail or when you go to a clothing shop the sales associates will address you with enthusiasm (and yes most of the time it’s fake). I have had to fake being excited, simply because some days I just wasn’t having a good day.

On one hand, I agree. On the other hand, at the beginning she said black or red and a little pink. Then she did a complete turn around and she chose black. Both the pink and red dresses were not that nice but the black were quite nice. The bridezilla calls them a bitch and the one day. Given the fact they have to pay for it - I'd want to make sure I could wear it again.

I love how Renee is very conscious of her client and customer service and their budget, not thrilled with the sales clerk, but definitely a great store owner and understands word of mouth adverts. Pleased customers come back and bring their daughters!

1. That bride needs new bridesmaids 2. Sharri looked gorgeous I the short dress 3. The other bride wanted something conservative for her fiancée family but her dress wasn't that conservative but still beautiful

A $3,000.00 budget is hard to work with because your dresses are far too expensive….not to mention hideous looking.

That consultant knows the $3k budget yet pulls thr 1st two dresses at $8k & $7.5k. She works for the bride. She’s horrible and pushy to make this bride go above her budget. That’s #1 of what not to do when shopping for a wedding dress! She needs to go.

I would tend to agree BUT the bride is not paying for the two bridesmaid dresses! The bridesmaids have to buy dresses they dislike.

@@elaineculbert8594 My sister and I wore dresses at my brother's wedding that did not suit us at all (we are short and not slim, whereas her 2 sisters are tall and slender) - but we paid for them, wore them once and threw them away.

@@BasicYTHandle - That was very nice (and generous) of you! Sometimes, there’s moments in life we just have to “suck it up” and go with the flow, isn’t there. In 10 years time, things that seemed like a big deal at the time, fade in importance as the years roll by.

I thought he was imitating actor, Martin Short, but after a bit of research, I learned that Martin Short copied Kevin Lee in his role as the wedding planner!

Sharae needs to be more considerate regarding budget. Her approach to selling pricey dresses has been very tacky in this episode and others. Love the new do. though. Very much less tacky.

Consultants who know what the budget is, should NOT put the bride to be in dresses that are way over budget. They are pushing the bride and her family into something that isn't what they have agreed on.

The consultant laughing when the bride cries and then just ending the appointment made me so mad. She needed someone on her side and to comfort and reassure her.
