Going to copy and paste from another reply I gave: The lead risk is not the big issue with counterfeit releases there is a misunderstanding, it is still a nasty material that they use true but the real issue is breakage. The actual real effects of lead and the amount on beys gets to the confusion.

Just a reminder that these are not tournament legal, this also does not support the brand. If you want beyblade to succeed long term invest in the official product. I know some of these are expensive or hard to get but it’s better to wait for a rerelease or hasbro release than it is to buy a fake cobalt or whatever.

The only thing I like about these fake beys is that the blades have regular screws so it makes dissembling and customizing them easier. Other than that I'll just stick to TT beys.

The good thing with painted fakes is the painted metal makes it much safer to hold. Still I recommend using gloves Also I don't recommend using fakes against reals cause lead can dent the real stuff and contaminated it. Please don't battle with them and wash your stadium

Dont worry beyblade x fakes do not contain lead the lead paint tests are inconsistent and x fakes have been proven to not contain lead

Glad to say I have a legit Cobalt Drake. Unfortunately customs decided to open up my package, which sucked, but at least I can now confirm it’s authenticity.

a strange thing about MQ is that they made some fake beyblades with a flat tip but on the cobalt drake they put a taper... they made the 4 tips of the initial beyblades but in the wrong colors and on the wrong beyblades lol

What about Gyroscope it has no words on the logo it had flat not taper, screws, and it had no words and it actually acts like the real shark edge its just the tip makes the logo spin freely

The Bit makes the logo spin freely for all Beyblade X beys(not UX) but if it doesn’t say Takara Tomy then the Beyblade is fake

I'm surprised at how fast Beyblade X stuff got counterfeited. Avoid them at all costs, as my experiences with fake Beys from previous generations weren't good, as I had them break quite easily and even a few shatter into several pieces. Definitely listen to Zankye's advice here.

I have counterfeit Drake, Shield, and Shark but i found a way to solve the problems: 1. Using double adhesive tape to avoid disassembling mid battle 2. Oxidizing salt and vinegar to get rid off the shiny metal I still support TT but there's times where a specific release is too expensive for me. I have 8 Beyblade X TT but have 7 fakes.

The thing I worry about more than anything is that Metal Fight mid fakes a lot of the time have been known to contain lead. if you do decide to buy mid fakes for whatever reason... MAKE SURE THEY DON'T CONTAIN LEAD. And if the site you buy them from doesn't say then just buy the originals for X. It will be more expensive to buy the fakes plus a lead testing kit than buying the official products aside from stuff like Cobalt Drake.
