அவரை விரட்டுகின்ற இந்தச் செயல் மிகவும் கண்டிக்கத்தக்கது எமது நாட்டை நாடி வந்த வெளிநாட்டவரை அவமதிக்கவில்லை அவர்கள் தங்களை தாங்களே அவமானப்படுத்திக்கொண்டனர் உண்மையில் அந்த நபர் உண்மையில் நல்லவர் எந்தவித எதிர்ப்பும் காட்டாமல் இதுதான் இவர்களுடைய பண்புபோல என நினைத்தக்கொண்டு வெளியேறிவிட்டார்

I am from Srilanaka. I watched those two videos. Actually Scammers can be encountered everywhere in this world . Srilanaka is a good country. People are very friendly and helpful though some scammers do these kind of ugly things sometimes. As soon as these videos went viral those two Scammers were taken into custody and presented before the magistre Court in releavent areas where they were fined. Come to Srilanka that is a beautiful country.

Street food shop all shops should show the price list everyone and everywhere an island wide

Also need to have a certificate about customer service,higine,food safety courses certificate's to open a food stall or restaurant. Must be... Government must right the systems and low and order against restaurants and hotels. Price list (menu) and customer complain help line numbers must be display visible places in those places. Tourism police number must display with big letters front of the resultant and hotels. Mainly tourism places.

ALWAYS asked the price first. This happened to me at an Airbnb I vlogged in SRI LANKA. i was given a 100 USD Bill for what should have been about 30 USD.

I watched the video with Tim Tense -800 Sri Lankan rupee equals £2.13 or €2.50 or if you are from the USA then $2.68. That is a reasonable price, if you were in Beligium or the UK would you deny paying what you owe or argue about price? Probably not, because a shop has the right to price their products at whichever price they choose, we as customers decide whether we purchase the items or not (ask for the price first). Local people in Sri Lanka earn significantly less so are often charged a seperate price for the same services or products. The average salary for someone in a 1st world country is much more and so usually spend more in their own country on a meal or snack which is often a smaller portion or if it's a snack then half the size than in Sri Lanka. Those in Sri Lanka, India, South East Asia and other developing countries know this so charge what they think you would pay in your own country and espescially in Sri Lanka they do not charge too much, they charge a sensible and reasonable price. Admittedly, the man in the yellow shirt demanding the other KZfaqr to leave, compromised the Globally recognised hospitality which Sri Lankans' are known for.

Government charges excessively foreigners visiting places of interest. For example a foreigner pays $36 to visit Sigiriya while a local pays less than $0.5. If government applies this logic, why can’t a local vendor do the same?

If you want to consume street food ensure that food prices are displayed to the public if not refrain eating from such places . Not just street food outlets if you walk in to any shop in Sri Lanka look for the price tags and ask for receipts if you have purchased anything!!

Hope you know the difference between safety and scamming. What's in the video is real and not a skit. Even if all the top organization give a clean sheet for SL, should such incidents be swept under the carpet? No wonder SL is in the predicament they are in, with people like you. I watched the video with Tim Tense -800 Sri Lankan rupee equals £2.13 or €2.50 or if you are from the USA then $2.68. That is a reasonable price, if you were in Beligium or the UK would you deny paying what you owe or argue about price. Probably not, because a shop has the right to price their products at whichever price they choose, we as customers decide whether we purchase the items or not (ask for the price first). Local people in Sri Lanka earn significantly less so are often charged a seperate price for the same services or products. The average salary for someone in a 1st world country is much more and so usually spend more in their own country on a meal or snack which is often a smaller portion or if it's a snack then half the size than in Sri Lanka. Those in Sri Lanka, India, South East Asia and other developing countries know this so charge what they think you would pay in your own country and espescially in Sri Lanka they do not charge too much, they charge sensible and reasonable price. Admittedly, the man in the yellow shirt demanding the other KZfaqr to leave, compromised the Globally recognised hospitality which Sri Lankans' are known for.

கடவுளின் பெயரை சொல்லி செய்யும் தப்பிற்கு கடவுள் உடனே பதில் கொடுத்திருக்கின்றார் அல்லவா? ஒரு மனிதன் செய்யும் தவறை கடவுளின் பெயரை எந்த வித பயமும் இல்லாமல் சொல்லி செய்தான் அதற்கு கடவுள் மிக விரைவான தண்டனையை கொடுத்துவிட்டார் , எந்த கடவுளும் தன்பெயரை பயன்படுத்தி எந்த தவறைகளையும் செய்யசொல்லவில்லை அல்லவா? மாறாக எல்லா மனிதர்களையும் நேசித்து வழிநடத்தவே சொல்கின்றார்கள். அதான் ்அல்லா சிறப்பாக செய்திருக்கின்றார் என்றேன், அதுவும் நோன்பு முடிந்து ஒரு வாரம் கூட ஆகாத நிலையில், அவரை ஆதரிப்பவர்கள் தன் அல்லாவை மதிக்காதவர்களாவே இருப்பர்.

All these discomfort must stop for the tourist or anyone in srilanka. My wife and kids pre booked a 7seater on Feb 2023 and the vehicle didn't have safetybelt they were asking for one with safety belt which they didn't have also refused to refund the£400. My wife born and brought up in srilanka till her 25th bd.
