Watch Ali Siddiq Interview Part 1 Here: • Be Woke.Vote presents ...
bewoke.vote - Strength through Struggle… Be Woke.Vote
When you are down, it doesn’t mean you are out. People of color have seen some of the darkest times in America. It is time to vote for our future. Through the eyes of Ali Siddiq, comes a conversation about what it means to be black in America, having self-effacement and voting to make a change. In this brand-new interview hosted by Roland Martin Unfiltered, we explore the dynamics of prison reform, registering to vote and urban communities. With the current administration, it feels they do not care about people of color. Your time is now to make a change by voting. - This is Be Woke.

There is also blood on you when you do vote. The USA votes between two types of global slavery. Thanks a lot. When you finally see what nightmare you have voted into power, it will be too late for a change. The fact that this dear man, Ali Siddiq, uses the "woke" phrase shows he is still unaware of what he is a part of. May Good God open his eyes.

You say there’s blood on those votes correct? Now here’s my question. Did that blood get there just for you to simply vote or vote to actually receive something in return for that vote? Removing yourself from the voting process is similar to gambling. You don’t have to bet every game you can sit out until the odds are in your favor.

If it wasn't for prison, Ali would not be the force he is today. 95% of people that go to prison either become repeat offenders and come right back after they're released or they get released but are way more of a hardened criminal than they were when they arrived. A small portion of released inmates are actually reformed and learn their lesson. Ali not only learned his lesson and was reformed, but he went in a young immature man and came out as a force to be reckoned with. He truly is an inspiration and leads by example. I hope some young cats out there that are thinking about rolling with the wrong crew look at his story and stop themselves so they never have to step foot inside a prison.

If voting didn't matter, why would politicians make it so difficult for you to do so? As was mentioned, policies passed affect generations. It's why I get so pissed with people who only care about what some politician will promise them on the campaign trail for now.

Your comment is 3 years old which means 2020. Nowhere in the United States of America was it illegal, difficult or outlawed to vote AT ALL!!!! So where you get that alternative fact from?
@omga14
@omga14 11 ай бұрын
@@six8bartend872 hello. The difficulty stems from closures of voting stations, making it necessary in some districts to one travel, two wait in line for hours. We're talking 4+. Voting should be a holiday. The average person cannot afford to take a day off to go vote. I don't propose "alternative facts". The other means to make persons feel as if the vote doesn't matter is to Jerry mander(so?) districts so no matter the vote count for one party, the other will win anyway because the individual vote isn't counted, it is the electoral vote. I say one party vs the other because both do this. I trust none of them. Our voice is not the concern of the overwhelming amount of politicians in office. The voice of the corporation/lobbyist is. There is are persons in politics here and there that truly are trying to do right by there constituants.

Ali Saddiq you are an inspiration & I feel like the more you share your life & ideas thru comedy etc more people might grab the concept of nation building.... I feel like as a community, & not just in America, we are nearing a precipice.... so change is coming.. right now we are blinded by "smart" technology & the idea of making others rich by preying on the less fortunate... just saying go vote doesn't mean anything if we don't know how the process works... we need to start teaching about the process & how to chose elected officials who will work in our favor

As a white male that grew up poor. I want to see ALL financially disadvantaged people of ALL racial/ethnic backgrounds UNITE. The powers that be i.e. large corporations and wealthy powerful families want to see racial divisions, racial tensions. The powers that be i.e. large corporations and wealthy families in the shadows want to see the rest of society distracted and disorganized. I understand minorities wanting to have a bigger piece of the pie. But lower and middle class white people are also fighting for survival. We have got to unite along financial class lines. Low and middle income must unite and forget racial,ethnic bullshit.
