Her mom was in the previous movie, they won't change that and they are mother and daughter playing mother and daughter, I mean, why not... In terms of chemistry/connection, that does seem pretty logical 😊 Personnaly, I think that'll be cute. Plus, there's still going to be a kid playing young Mufasa, most likely...

Hmmmmm dont know about this. Weren’t she suppose to play Sarah Baartman an African slave woman who was enslaved and taken to Europe, where her body was put on display for paying audiences.
