Mufasa is apperently an "orphaned" cub and meets Taka or Scar, but that isn't true, his parents are Ahadi and Uru, who are both previous rulers of the Pridelands, and Taka or Scar is his real brother, not adoptive

Plus your argument that its only a voice: if it is then why do you care so much? (I ask sincerely, not judging or hating:-) ) If its 'just a voice' we wouldnt have had Jones's voice for Darth Vader either, cause he was played by an actor with a totally different voice which didnt fit. I thought Mufasa was already born into royalty. It would make sense considering the previous tales and books of the lion king and how the relationship was with his brother Scar whose original name was Taka and their father. Taka didn't have a good relationship with his father and got his scar in some type of accident to prove himself. Everyone knows about that because of the children's books years ago. Why are they trying to make him an orphan?? Look at the family tree.

He might have been an orphan the same way Simba was. Maybe his dad wasn't King, and he died at some point, leaving Mufasa an orphan. Or maybe the father he speaks of is Scar's father, and Mufasa was adopted, and Scar's father loved him more.

Guy all these comments of "WHAT ABOUT THE BOOKS?!" "What about Ahadi and Uru!?" The. Books. Are not. CANONICAL. They are licensed by disney so they can be sold, but they are not considered to be canon. It's not like MLP comics where it is started they are canonical to the timeline. 6NA is never stated nor claimed by disney to be the canonical backstory. It was actually stated they are not canon nor are they semi-canon. The people who wrote them arent even partners or workers with/for Disney. Those books are simply for Profit and they didn't even sell well. So this movie is the first time we will see any type of backstory that could be possible considered canon backstory of these two.

Wanna know why the circle is broken? Because somewhere along the line they divided it by 7 to create the 360 degree illusion. 360 isn't a circle it's an arc. The true circle consists of 7 such arcs (scar) to equal 2520 "degrees" we are taking back our circle of life. "Mufasa" f=6 a=1. a7sum "Scar" arcs. A 7 arcs sum

I respect all opinions for and against this film. But if they made Mufasa a cub of a royal family and inherited power from his father, the story would be repetitive and this would seem boring. So I'm going with the change in the story if making him an orphan and then becoming king would seem more interesting. It makes Mufasa more worthy of the king and gives his character a boost.. 👍🏽
