Im not a parent but someone who is a parent told me that parents/partners in something to work on / towards together. She said that not only the contexts of raising children but anything thing that they feel is of value. Example: building a back patio so your friends can with their kids. Everyone live their best lives. How do you feel about this idea on how to keep engaged in a healthy longterm way?

Does it ever get difficult creating content about your own family and life experiences? Like always having to dissect and break down your thoughts on your own family unit on camera… how do you maintain sanity/peace doing so? While also creating content with so much honesty & vulnerability

Personally, I find the part about the dad's not knowing how to help as an excuse. Prior to having a child I had never taken care of an infant in my life. I had to sink or swim. The 'breast-feeding connection' or whatever it is shouldn't absolve someone from helping out. Sure as the mother you end up being the primary parent but if the dad really is interested in being involved and helping out they will. I'm glad having the second baby has spread the responsibilities a bit for Shan and Jared but I'm not convinced that would be the case for me. Culture and upbringing also play a huge role in how people show up for one another in a family dynamic.

I have a question for you guys! I get the vibe that you guys probably laugh a lot during your problem-solving process or addressing issues, which I personally love. My partner and I do this, and it seems so healthy for the relationship. I’ve dealt with partners in the past who were very sensitive and pretty insecure, and I couldn’t address issues with in a light-hearted manner this way. Would you say that’s true for you guys? If so, do you feel it really helps your relationship? 😊
