According to the late Gilbert Godfried (who voice acted Mxyzptlk in Superman TAS), it's pronounced "MIX-yes-SPIT-lick". It also seems like an impossible task to make Impossible Man more than just a plot device if Marvel slapped that character on-screen.

Although similar in power, I’ve always felt like Impossible Man is more on the lighter side of things, while Mr. Mixed Pickles is kinda dark. Not Joker dark, but still creepy.

You finally did one on Impossible Man, Marvel's forgotten Mr. Mxyzptlk. *Twist Ending:* Impossible Man has literally been every Easter Egg in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we just didn't realize it due to him being a shape-shifter. As far as him being recognizably green when he takes shape.....keep in mind writers can rewrite continuity minor abnormalities to fit the narrative when seen fit. ;)

Since he can turn into metal whenever he transforms into machines, he presumably just stays green because he likes it that way? I mean, if he rally wanted to, he could definitely mimic other colors.

One of the best stories of Impossible Man or Impy as he was often called is when he encountered the New Mutants and had a rivalry going on with Warlock who also had the abilty to change into into anything. Warlock won the duel by simply changing colour. It never occured to Impy that he could change from green and purple to other colours.

Finally!!! I have been requesting Impossible Man forever. One of my favorite Marvel characters! Very underrated and underused. I hope they find a way to bring him into the MCU! Also the timing of this video is great because I just purchased What If comic #104 featuring Impossible Man on the cover along with Galactus, Thanos, Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, and Captain America.

I think using him sparingly is a good decision. He's powerful enough to basically make most situations null, so he would take intensity out of them. Having him as limited comic relief is good.

You're probably the exact person I need to ask... >>>I can't remember things so well as many fans can, especially since my comics experience has been fairly sporadic over the years, but part of my brain is telling me there was once a storyline where Mr Impossible actually got SERIOUS, and it was impressive. I remember a issue in the Fans tic Four where the Impossible man and Impossible woman kidnapped Franklin and Valeria their kids. Reason was their own children well grew up and left the nest, so they made more only to happen again. Hurt and sadden they kidnapped the Fantastic four kids to raise unsure of why their own kids left. It was explained to them, it happens children leave the nest, but it doesn't mean they never see them again. They did when family visits and celebrating holidays together was interduce to them.

One of my favorites crossovers is superman silver surfer where in that mix issue Mr impossible fought Mr mxyspitlic to a draw as the have close to the same powers that then just kept shifting into different heros and beat each other up pretty good

There was this one issue where Impossible Man and another Marvel shapeshifter (whose name I can't remember) got into a battle of shapeshfting. On and on and on it went, with each character assumed ever more fantastic forms, both things and people. but neither character could outdo the other in terms of shape-shifting ability. The battle finally ended when the other shapeshifter.....changed colors. Impossible Man left in a huff, because while he can do any number of shapeshifting powers, at least at the time, he could not change from his color scheme of green and purple.
