This is why I fucking love comics. That's such a weirdly specific aspect of comics to focus on, and I absolutely love that there's so many things like this that people obsess over. Not many entertainment mediums have the same claim.

I like that Galactus put in all his effort to make Morg powerful and almost 0 effort into how Morg looked as his Herald.

i enjoyed the herald ordeal. btw, tyrant wasn't a herald. galactus created him and he is considered more of a "son". his first herald was the fallen one [not to be confused with the mjolnir wielding silver surfer who fought king thanos]

I see Morg as a Cosmic Sabretooth; all the former heralds including Silver Surfer was no match for him, killed Nova(the lady) & if it wasn’t for Galactus depowering him, he wouldn’t killed them all. One of the best Silver Surfer comics ever💯🔥🙅🏾‍♂️

Actually SS and Terrax were a match for him, SS and Terrax have even defeated him, as he did them aswell. However the one Rob was doing here was an enhanced Morg.

The little bit of info I got so far made me really excited that they added him! Not sure if you collect Marvel legends figures but yeah I can't wait!!!!

Galactus really SUCKS at picking heralds. What, in the span of 50 years he has had to replace like 13 of them. You would think someone over 13 billion years old would be a better judge of character.

I always thought that Tyrant was more of a "Child" than a "Herald" of Galactus. Fallen One was the Original Herald.

Just occurred to me, Batman can take out almost anyone with some time to plan and prep. We've seen Batman best Superman, Darkseid, Batman Who Laughs, etc... I wanna see Batman vs Galactus!!! Absolutely silly and ridiculous but with Batman's rep (and access to skillshare!), ya just never know.

@@grifo3310 And whose fault is that? Batman's there to win. Due to his sense of morals, Superman is only in the fight up to a point. Also, we already know synthetic kryptonite is a thing. Bruce/Batman has the $$$ and brains to create it, powder it and drop it on Clark's clothes whenever he's out of the apartment. If he wanted to, he could create/use kryptonite in a lead-lined shower reservoir in the apt and take out Superman while he's naked and at his most vulnerable.

But Supes has actually bested Batman more times than not. I will leave it at that. U can continue to debate on ur own if u wish my friend

It’s funny bc fans thinks it’s cap but if you read his golden age comics Batman had so many gadgets and devices that it was insane. It eventually got too unrealistic and they stopped it and eventually I think crisis on infinite earth happen and he was rebooted. Golden age Batman was the king and the ultimate Batman that with prep time could defeat anyone and remain campy😂

Frankie has the BEST response ever IMO and it's from the Silver Surfer cartoon of the mid nineties where she tries to persuade the Silver Surfer to help save a dying Galactus, Surfer's attitude was "why should I help a being who has brought death to untold billions" and Frankie's response "You have to help him...because this was the best job I could get out of high school". Not gonna lie, I laughed till my face hurt

THANK YOU!!! I grew up reading comics during the early 90s, and Morg was a HUGE part! I remember it took all of Galactus's former heralds to take him out. I was shocked when they killed him off for good.

One of my favourite Silver Surfer arcs. That it took multiple former Heralds to face him was a compelling Beyond Omega story arc.

One of my favorite mini series. I’ve always loved silver surfer and this is one of the coolest stories in sufers history.

He wasn't more powerful than SS without a power upgrade. He bathed in some mystic waters and gained far more power. Once he died and was revived by Galactus he no longer had the additional power and SS destroyed him pretty handily. He blew up a planet while battling Morg and incapacitated him.

Back in the good old days powerful comic book villains meant business they took no prisoners and it took a tremendous effort to simply subdue them long enough to banish them or escape from them lol. I remember as kid when I first saw Tyrant I was in awe at how badass he looked you knew straight away he had close to zero physical vulnerabilities.

I loved the part when he said "It's Morgin' time" and proceded to morg all over the previous heralds, truly one of the comic book moments of all time.
