What a great suggestion made by @Steve M. Hope you can sing "Beyond the Sea", in French, at some point. Everything you play, Sangah, just picks my mood up several notches. Your enthusiasm as you play, and also when you sing, makes me feel better. Watching your video this morning brought back some memories of past vacations to me. You transported me back to the Mediterranean Sea at sunset and also having a glass of wine in a gazebo at Seaside, Florida. Two favorite "Beyond the Sea" memories in my vacation playbook. So, thank you for this song today! You brought a smile to my face. 😊 It is evident how much time and effort you have dedicated to mastering your skills at the piano. What a wonderful gift you have and you share it so freely with others. God be with you and hope you have a happy and blessed day, as we say goodbye to January, 2022. 🤗🎹🎶🎼🎵 ❤

My goodness Sangah, that was out of this world - or “Beyond the Sea”! It’s incredible how you excel on every song, every day, all the time. You’re immortal. Seriously, this is movie quality playing. I could easily see (or hear) your rendition of this in a movie with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan - or pick your movie stars. It’s that good. What a pro you are. This is a favorite song of mine, but I’ve never, ever heard it played that well. I humbly bow to piano greatness and the piano Goddess, Miss Sangah Noona! All hail to Sangah! Just incredible. ❤️

I seem to remember that Bobby Darin would occasionally do this song during one of his appearances on the various musical/variety shows in the sixties. Usually, it was "Mack the Knife" but sometimes it would be this wonderful song. Maybe next time you could sing it in French? That would bring the language count up to at least five! 🤣🤣❤❤

@@robertthomas6127 Hi Robert, I do. I didn’t learn well until as an adult. I took lessons for about 3 years- I am mediocre , at best- but I love it. It is how I discovered Sangah on YT. My piano is in storage at the moment- I am moving up the road a bit and haven’t found a house yet-and I miss it so much🙁. Do you play piano? You certainly have good taste with Sangah😍! As for me, no I was never musically inclined and please don't ask me to sing because all the birds will fly away. As a matter of fact after I discovered Sangah and started watching/listening here I first gave thought to the fact that I know of absolutely no one in the family that plays an instrument. Well maybe someone a bit further related that I haven't had contact to in decades. See you Friday.

A nice jazzy interpretation by you Sangah.. The original French song (la Mer) was composed by Charles Trenet in 20 minutes during a train journey in the south of France along the coast. The Mediterranean sea is very turbulent sometimes. You can hear it in the song. From very calm to turbulent. If you have a possibility please listen the original song sung by Charles Trenet. The lyrics are not to difficult I think. You can find it on KZfaq.
