Amen brother. being a HLL man myself I found that BTW lacked any kind of tactical team work. The maps are really compact and it's just spawn, run, maybe shoot and then die. The squads don't really communicate because it's impossible to locate where you are or point out where enemies are so you pretty much run around by yourself, or close to squad. I played it for about an hour. Realised it wasn't anything like HLL (not that I was expecting that), in terms of tactics, squad and team work. So i refunded it as I know I won't play it. I'll keep an eye on it for now and see if it develops as time goes on. Nice Vid btw.

From what you’re saying I think might be the PERFECT game for all those HLL players who enjoy spawning at a garry at one point and just running straight at the enemy point. As the great Capt. Blackadder once said “Would this brilliant plan involve us climbing out of our trenches and walking very slowly towards the enemy?” And 17 times before that I might add! Also great inclusion of Baldrick’s poem! 😂.

I hope they will add the eastern front in the future. It had more movement while still having trenches. It is a better scenario for a videogame imo.

It looks so chaotic, I know it is not my cup of tea. Too much frustration to be had down that rabbit hole. Game needs tactics by design, multiple at that for it to remain captivating and challenging after the hype train reaches its final station. Anyway that's just my two cents, I liked yours. The video had a good angle, just play and see if it is fun and if you want to pick it up again. For netcode analysis and that kind of thing there are already a lot of established youtubers. I think the style you picked suits you.

I'm with Haps, may pick it up at some point.

I love that game, it reminds me so much of Red Orchestra 2 just in WW1. I got fed up with HLL for various reason over the last couple months and BTW just felt like a fresh breeze... it’s different, I like it
