As is standard at most card rooms, the dealer is an employee of the card room but a representative from a licensed third-party business takes on the role of banker, also known as “the house.” The banker collects from the losers and pays the winners. That is why you will see chips and cards going to the number one seat. The chips in the dealer's tray is for exchanging cash, as the banker is not allowed to exchange cash for chips. 5:33 the dealer really messed up the payout. You should have gotten paid for your trips (you weren't), but not the blind (you were). The dealer didn't qualify.

The blind was a push -Yes because the dealer had ace high.@@jeffl7852 but @yendub is correct. She did not get paid for the trips. But the dealer made 2 mistakes that hand. Paid the bl8nd and didn’t pay the trips. So Kelly made an extra $5. If the hand was paid correctly she would have made $20 and kept trips bet but since he took trips and paid blind bet, she made $30 but had to re ante the trips bet.

5:30 Kelly, you got trips, and the dealer absolutely messed up. You supposed to have trips payment, he took it, and a push of the anti, and overpaid you. They need to fix it next time on your next trip.

It’s basically Deuces Wild. 2,s and the joker are used as “wilds” and can be any card you want them to bed example: 5,5,5,joker,6 counts as Quads.
