A minute in, and I stopped watching because of the mistakes. Air Force 2 is the callsign of any USAF aircraft that has the VP on board, regardless of the aircraft type. Air Force 1 is the plane with the president on board, again regardless of the aircraft type. Similarly Marine 1 and 2 are the call signs for USMC helicopters with the President or VP on board.

A channel's name -- "Beyond facts" -- has never been more accurately named in my mind once I watched this video! LMAO!! I'm still trying to figure out how an antennae array can "link" to MILSTAR satellites from the BOTTOM SIDE of a fuselage of a jumbo jet when "line of sight" is required, but hey.... Personally, if I was the president and wanted to travel incognito, I'd dress up like an asylum seeker and use a stolen Toyota Tundra. That way I'd be able to cross boarders completely unhindered, and the police would be too busy dealing with misgendering incidents to bother with a stolen vehicle report. No worries about GM unreliability either.

This was already published, so I fell safe writing about it (read it in memoire). When prezident Václav Havel was moving around, sometimes, they'd let a false convoy out first, which would pick up all the clout, and an hour or two later, followed up with one to three cars along an alternate route only to perform switcharoo just before arriving at their destination. Another thing, that helped mr. president was, that he was nauseous while sitting in the back, so he typically rode next to the driver. And to top it off, he was an accomplished driver himself, so he could make a getaway even without one!

There is no E-10. The "bulge" mentioned is NOT a satellite communication antenna. The now retired E-8 had a similar "canoe" which was a side looking radar.

Having pilot relatives I heard many times they would see the secret planes There are very specific paths used and you see the other planes U4B and E4B and a fleet of stealth planes fly along We would see information showing on the radar Everyone knows not to mention them over the radio or intercom Personally I have always thought it was stupid to go to anywhere with a war going on. With our OWPs we don't need to send troops to fight wars anymore. I don't know why we don't use them more.

I live in Austin and my office happens to be near the VA which is behind the airport and my house also sits directly underneath the incoming flight lanes. Every President in my Adult life has flown over my house at least once and AF1 is absolutely massive as it flies over. I have a Video back when President Trump came to town and the Aircraft did a full lap around the city. It was very cool to see regardless of your political views.

A historic secret Presidential move happened in 1943 when Franklin Roosevelt travelled to Casablanca to meet with Sir Winston Churchill in the middle of a war. At 10pm on 9 January 1943, FDR and his staff secretly left the WH. A special train had been prepared, and supplied only one hour before departure, and staffed with a specially selected crew of five from the President's ship USS Potomac; regular Pullman staff were told they were not needed for this trip. Upon arrival in Miami under cover of darkness, the President got off the train and was taken by car to the Pan-Am base to board a plane chartered by the US Navy, where the plane took off 15 minutes after he'd gotten off the train, still in the dark. Four days later, after a very circuitous route using train, planes, ships, and boats, he arrived at Casablanca for the famous conference.

Wrong! Airforce one is always the callsign for any fixed wing aircraft the President us on. Airforce 2 is the call sign for the Vice Presidents plane if he is not on the sane aircraft with the President. Marine 1 and 2 are the helicopter calls signs for President and Vice President. Please do your research!

If I were President, I would probably drive myself in an ordinary car, in case I need confidence. I would have a whole fleet of them. I would also change them a few times during longer trips. And neither of them would have a license plate USPresident.

You're prohibited from driving once you've become President. It is required for Secret Service to be your driver and even after the 4 or 8 years you've been in office. Your basically only allowed to drive something like a golf cart.

@@ilsavv You're not necessarily wrong, but America is the most powerful country in the world. The President has a lot of their freedoms heavily restricted due to security concerns. You have to have the best body guards, best pilots, best drivers, best snipers, and the best doctors. You can't even open the window because some lunatic may take you out. If you decide to go out for dinner, the secret service must be in the kitchen keeping a close eye on the cooks and taste testing your food to make sure it is safe to eat.

ANYTIME when the President goes aboard any plane they change their Call-sign to Air-force 1 even Commercial airliners change their Call-sign then change it back when they leave.Air-force 2 is the Vice Presidents plane.
