I am coming to UK early May 2024. I read that pike fishing is banned in UK from 15 Mar to 15 Jun. It is true ? 😢

Hi, I would say as a rule yes that’s true. There are some variations in place in different areas, for example in the local canals I fish there are no restrictions. In the majority of river systems the closed season definitely applies. Some lakes and private waters may have different rules as well. It depends where you’re heading?
