I’ve never heard anyone summarize the similarities with religion as getting rid of ones ego but that strikes me as spot on….in that removing yourself and your will from the equation results in you living in alignment with something bigger. Most definitely. Shrooms did it for me. The shrooms told me directly but indirectly that everything is connected and I’m mean Every thing and also Love is the answer to any obstacle known to man. The trick is to figure out how to apply that to everyday life in this materialistic world while maintaining your “happy”. But it seems, You can’t be connected with the current situation while being completely connected to what matters. It’s a flood of information that can’t be translated in the language we speak but somehow you completely comprehend “while under the influence”.
