"Better" in what way? I can merge them in BSP, as well. But it offers no difference in print quality. Literally zero difference that the software sees. Except the fact that when you make something solid, it actually recreates the entire surface possibly introducing errors. Probably not significant when it comes to a flipper, but you are in fact recreating the entire mesh which I always advise against.

Yeah, should with well. Just remember that the flex of the claps will depend on your material. Choose accordingly.

The only difference would be that you would use the ad virtual tooth function that exists in the model editing module. Simply pick a tooth from the various tooth libraries and scale it to size and position it how you want. Then when you go to export the flipper, you just want to make sure that the only things visible in the 3D view are the flipper framework which is technically called a surgical guide in the software and the virtual tooth. Then when you go to file and export data, you'll see that those two things are checked. Export those two and print. You can use tools within the crown and bridge module to cut out the bottom of the tooth if you're worried about it impinging on tissue. Honestly, though, the pontic shape teeth in the software tend to work just fine. And even if you have to choose one of the libraries that isn't round on the bottom, it doesn't take long with a burr to simply grind it off to the shape you want. Sometimes it's not a bad thing to have a little extra there so that you can trim it to shape based on the post surgical setup.

Yep. I've done that before. I've actually used putty to make a matrix and then cut back the tooth. At that point, you can just apply the composite and use the putty matrix to shape it for you. Once cured, just trim off the flash. That sad, I purchased the GC stain kit for this purpose.

I'm not sure I understand the question. You asked what shade and then named the shade that I'm using. It's onx A1 that I use the GC optiglaze kit to stain to adjust.

It's about like acrylic. Not much flex. I have Tough, but haven't used it for a flipper, yet. I've used Nightguard Flex when I need that and overlay with composite for the teeth. Not a perfect solution, but it works. You could also print the teeth in tooth resin and bond to the NG Flex framework.
