This is basically going to be a complete night vlog of Bhutan travel journey. I reached Thimphu, Bhutan around 7:15pm ( India time ) , started my bus journey from phuentsholing by 1:30pm ( Bhutan time ).
After reaching to Thimphu, Bhutan i was completely blank about my next step , where to go / what to do because Tenzin's phone was not reachable who could guide me for upcoming situation.
I just didn't sit at the Thimphu bus stand, started moving out , asking people about the way to main city area . Earlier i was walking around without asking people in the direction of the lights , i found myself walking in the wrong direction after confirming with the person walking by .
After asking various people on the way , i somehow got the right track , my first goal was to get the accommodation which i have found around the clock tower . The distance of Thimphu bus stand to the city clock tower is less then 2 kms . The price of my accommodation ( hotel panchsheel ) was 600₹ . After reaching clock tower i got connected with Tenzin and he sent friends to help me around in getting the hotel and good party house/ club nearby . Most of the hotels you will find near clock tower and you may not find hotel / accommodation cheaper then 600/700₹ .
Even after getting my hotel thing done i could not stay at night in my hotel 🛏️ due to some reason which i will share later . We three ,me and two of Tenzin's friend starting looking for the good party happening places around . After sitting in one good restaurant i.e Rich table restaurant we landed up to the wonderful Night club know as Space 24.
The entry charges for Space 24 club is 200₹ / 200 ngultrum and the price of beer of brand Druk 11000 & Lager beer costs 200₹ / 1 beer . The vibe of space 24 club was amazing , i had lot of fun.
The bars / clubs / party spots of Thimphu , Bhutan's closing time is 12:00am ( Bhutan time ) & on weekends half hour may get extended & when the clubs / bars are closed another life get started, you will see the food vendors sitting around the pedestrians / streets selling meals/ snacks to eat . The most engaging spot is 24 seven store which is near to clock tower you will find lot of people there munching snacks or having there left over beers .
After booking the hotel near clock tower i.e name as in panchsheel hotel , i directly went to enjoy the night life of Thimphu, Bhutan. Hotel attendant asked me to come back to hotel around 12:00 am ( Bhutan time ) but i took his words lightly moreover time was not set in my phone according to Bhutan, i.e Bhutan time is half hour ahead of India'a time zone . I thought if it is half hour late then would not be an issue but unknowingly i was already getting 30 minutes extra late.
I banged hotel's door for several times ,called them a lot but there was no any sign of there response even Bhutan police was there with me for around 1 hour , tried helping me , but all our efforts were in vain. Moreover it was very cold there and i was not aware about the weather conditions I was not keeping any warmer or any jacket with me , shivered and struggled.
What then , i have spent my whole night drinking coffee, talking to people & shivering in cold . While talking when people comes to know about my situation, they tries to help me around, several other persons took initiative of getting me inside my hotel . Around 5:45 am i stepped towards my hotel in the hope of it may get open.
Thanks to everyone who helped me around, people of Bhutan are very nice , kind and happy . I am very thankful to Bhutan police for their kind efforts.
