Nice song. Chilthra’s voice superb. Thrisha’s dance is the minus point. Someone who knows classical dance should of performed this song

Awesome song and performance. For those who didn't watch the movie and are confused by two dancers here - one is a real dancer Chandrakala, another is her dead sister Pournami. It's the best part of the movie, but with context they did female protagonist dirty and ending was very rushed. Even at the end male protagonist, a recent widower, still saw female protagonist's sister, his recently killed wife, in her. And it looked like they got married in the end more out of guilt, obligation and nudging from all sides.

You're right, the costume and headdress look very much Bharatnatyam but the dance is Kuchipudi style. It's a movie, I guess they couldn't find the best consultants on time for the filming, LOL.
