I have a 1950’S Better Home and Gardens cookbook my beloved grandmother gave me as a teenager! I am now 67, and this has been my go to for over 50 yrs!(EGADS😝) I have adapted so many due to serious amounts of mayonnaise which was a STAPLE go to ingredient 🌟and lard/CRISCO. Funny, I’m using LARD now instead of anything else, because of a well hidden and/or obscure report/study they EMBARRASSINGLY admitted is HEALTHIER after all. It’s a hard proposition to convince them lol, me too at first. All I can say is the young ones coming up should be respectful of ‘old ways’ because we KNOW a thing or two, AND add THEIR newer knowledge to solve any issues-TOGETHER🧐🥰🙏🏻🌟 this is a scrumptious recipe book that sends ME into 20 or more ‘possibilities’ of what to add or omit, to enhance, to lighten up, mostly, and is the benefit of experience that states loudly ‘I GOT THIS!’ I have not explored any of your new ones and am curious, so maybe I’ll ask for a Xmas present 😃my son gets most all my utensils and gadgets, I love it-only woman in America says no perfume lol…well..have a lovely day and thank you 🙏🏻❤️
