Jeezy Doing THE BOYZ N DA HOOD ALBUM with Bad Boy & Diddy wasn’t a bad look either especially around that time Jeezy had all the momentum and he came with a fire album as well
@BigDapPacino2 жыл бұрын
Puff saw him rolling in clubs with BMF ...already driving 2 seater sports cars . ..he wasn't hurting for no money ...they kind of used him for street cred but Jody Breeze was the one Diddy wanted to shine in Boyz N da Hood...he was trying to keep up with that Cash Money Hot Boyz energy because Juvie , B.G., Wayne, and Turk were doing Big number sales and selling out shows in the early 2000's !
@TheWRLDOFGREG2 жыл бұрын
@@BigDapPacino 2005 was the Year of Jeezy he had already done a mixtape with DJ DRAMA & had the streets on fire was he rolling with Big Meech & BMF yes he was there’s no denying that he was Jody Breezy supposed to be the Star of the of group like Lil Wayne I guess you could say that yea but it did not pan out that way because Jody breeze felt a way towards Jeezy & they fell out Jeezy was Trick Daddy’s replacement because Trick & Block put the group together and Trick didn’t like the music that the group made so he left and got replaced with Young Jeezy which gave Jeezy more of a buzz & it obviously didn’t hurt because after that Album he left the group and released his debut album like 6 months later on Def Jam which is why people thought Jeezy was signed to 2 labels Bad Boy & Def Jam he wasn’t he just did the album which didn’t hurt in the end Jeezy was the Star of the group & BMF because Meech was pushing him back then Jeezy had rap money before Boyz N Da Hood the group just put more eyes on him
@TheWRLDOFGREG2 жыл бұрын
@Certified Big Dog I never said he wasn’t the best Jody Breeze was signed with Jazzy Pha’s label Sho Nuff Records at the time & had songs with Top artist like Lil Wayne and many others so him & Jeezy had a little buzz & they had the same momentum around the same time it’s just Jody never took advantage of the opportunity & Jeezy did with the mixtapes & Jeezy was smart enough to do a 1 off deal with Bad Boy where as Jody stayed around for the 2nd Album and eventually left the group based off brewing beef with Jeezy is Jody the Best Out The Group Absolutely No Doubt Jody could’ve been big as any rapper he could still be but he doesn’t rap like that anymore anyways Jeezy did a 1 off deal with Diddy & Bad Boy South and then left the group in July of ‘05 and released his Album on Def Jam a few months later Jody could’ve done the same thing but didn’t

Jeezy's flow is iconic so many rappers have taken his flow it used to dominate the early to mid 2010's. even rappers people consider "more skilled". i was just listening to cyhi da prynce a dude who has written for kanye, and he rapping just like jeezy in half his own songs.
@jewelgilbert88542 жыл бұрын
Chyhi has been rapping. He refuses to rap on trap beats. He has his own style. Jeezy’s style is way more simple and basic. I love them both , but Cydell is one of the best rhymers, Jeezy is one of the best rappers!!!
@DarkOblideration2 жыл бұрын
@@jewelgilbert8854 Typically the more famous rapper is the one being copied. i doubt jeezy was copying cyhi's flow. it was probably the other way around, as homage. since jeezy had way more radio hits and was mainstream. and no, jeezy has a certain dragging slow flow that many rappers like drake cyhi ti etc have even used.
@YoungBreeze2522 жыл бұрын
@@jewelgilbert8854 Who said he hadn't been rapping and what beat he wont rap to? That don't mean he can't/won't used another rappers cadence n flow?
