Like mass shootings, mass shootings happen so much now that people just continue going to work, going on with their day, etc and the news just moves on to the next story. Back then, if you heard or saw 7, 8, or 11 plus shot in a mass shooting, it made national news all week to a month and everyone would be in shock and couldn't stop talking about it. Compare the number of rappers that died in a four year span in this era vs. 96-2000 it's no comparison.

Pac, Biggie, L and Tah was the big rappers but it was plenty of rappers dying back then as well. Plan Bee, Stretch, Seagram got killed months before 2Pac did and he was signed to Rap A Lot, then if you go down to New Orleans they had plenty of rappers get killed in the 1990s alone.

The sad truth that nobody is really talking about is the fact that our biggest threat to us(black men)are our own people!!!,im also in my 50’s and during my 20’s to early 40’s I was involved in several shootings where I had to protect myself against men that looked like me!!!, and to this day I can’t say that I feel safer around my own people!!, I know hella men that feel the same way as I do and the sh*t is pathetic!!!!.,that’s where we are right now in society and it’s been that way for my entire life!!!,sad but true!!
